"Love is not about how many days, months, or years you've been together. It's about how much you love each other every single day."

Ifinally leaned back in my chair, feeling a sense of accomplishment after finishing all my tasks for the day. It was nice to have a moment of calm in the office, even if it was brief.
Just as I started to relax, I noticed Riya, one of the new hires, hovering near my desk. She looked a bit hesitant, clearly debating whether to approach me. I gave her a warm smile to encourage her.
"Ma'am, I'm sorry to bother you," she began, her voice a little unsure. "But I'm having some trouble with this report. Could you help me understand it?"
“Of course, Riya,” I replied, genuinely happy to help. I remember how daunting everything felt when I was new. “What seems to be the problem?”
As she explained her confusion, I could see where she was getting stuck. I moved my chair closer to her desk and began walking her through the report, breaking down the sections that were giving her trouble. I could see the relief on her face as things started to make sense.
"Oh, I get it now! Thank you so much, ma'am," she said, her voice full of gratitude. "I was so worried I’d mess it up."
“Don’t worry, Riya,” I said, smiling at her. “Everyone goes through this. Just take your time, and if you ever need help again, you know where to find me.”
She thanked me again before returning to her desk, looking much more confident. I watched her for a moment, feeling good that I could ease her worries.
Then I glanced at the clock and felt a jolt of surprise—it was already 6:55 pm. How did it get so late? I quickly gathered my things, making sure I didn’t leave anything behind.
As I grabbed my bag and headed for the door,I quickly packed up my things, but before heading out, I decided to check in on Ayansh. It was always a comforting way to end the day, especially after a long day at work.
As I made my way to his cabin, I stopped by Satyam’s desk. “Is Ayansh free right now?” I asked, keeping my tone casual.
Satyam looked up, recognizing me immediately. “Yes, ma’am. He’s free now.”
I thanked him and walked towards Ayansh's cabin, feeling a familiar sense of anticipation. I pushed the door open gently and stepped inside. There he was, seated at his desk, fully engrossed in something on his computer screen. Even after all these years, seeing him so focused never ceased to make me smile.
The soft sound of the door must have caught his attention, because he looked up from the screen, his expression immediately shifting to a warm smile when he saw me.
“Hey,” he greeted, his voice filled with that unmistakable mix of affection and familiarity that only comes with being together for so long.
“Hey,” I replied, walking towards him, feeling that familiar comfort wash over me. Ending the day in his presence always felt like the perfect way to close out the workday.
As I walked closer to him, Ayansh stood up from his chair, his warm smile never fading. Before I could say anything, I remembered the conversation we had in the morning.“I’m heading to my mom’s place today,” I reminded him softly, knowing I had mentioned it earlier.
He nodded, understanding. Without a word, he gently leaned in, placing a tender kiss on my forehead, then followed it with a soft peck on my lips. The simple gesture made my heart flutter, as it always did.
