" The drunken night "

Author's pov :

Aniket and Agni drifted off to sleep, their bodies entwined, their hearts beating as one. The campfire crackled softly, casting a warm glow over their peaceful faces. The night air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the gentle rustling of leaves.

As they slept, their hands instinctively found each other, their fingers intertwining like the branches of the trees above. Their bodies nestled closer, seeking comfort and warmth in each other's embrace.

Morning light crept over the horizon, casting a soft golden glow over the forest. Aniket and Agni stirred, their eyes fluttering open in unison. They gazed at each other, their faces inches apart, their lips almost touching.

For a moment, they forgot where they were, forgot about the journey, forgot about everything except the two of them. They were lost in the depths of each other's eyes, drowning in the sea of their own emotions.

Then, reality dawned, and they both sat up, suddenly aware of their entwined bodies. They looked away, their cheeks flushing with shyness. Aniket cleared his throat, trying to break the silence.

"Good morning," he whispered, his voice husky.

Agni nodded, her voice barely audible. "Good morning."

They slowly untangled themselves, their hands lingering on each other's skin. They dressed in silence, avoiding eye contact, both lost in their own thoughts.

As they packed up their campsite, Aniket couldn't help but steal glances at Agni. He saw the hint of a smile on her lips, the sparkle in her eyes, and his heart skipped a beat.

Agni, too, couldn't help but look at Aniket, her gaze drifting to his hands, his lips, his eyes. She felt a flutter in her chest, a sense of excitement and nervousness.

As they set off on their journey, Aniket's car purred smoothly, thanks to the mechanic's skilled hands. Agni settled into the passenger seat, her eyes fixed on the road ahead. Aniket glanced at her, his heart skipping a beat as he took in her profile.

They drove in silence, the only sound the hum of the engine and the soft rustling of leaves outside. Aniket's hands felt sweaty on the wheel, his mind racing with thoughts of the previous night.

Agni, too, was lost in thought, her cheeks flushing pink as she remembered the way Aniket's body had felt against hers. She sneaked a glance at him, her eyes meeting his for a brief moment before darting away.

The air was thick with tension, the silence between them palpable. They both knew that things had changed, that their relationship had shifted in ways they couldn't quite define.

As they stopped at a red light, Aniket turned to Agni, his voice barely above a whisper. "Hey, are you okay?"

Agni nodded, her eyes downcast. "Yeah, I'm fine."

The light turned green, and Aniket accelerated, his eyes fixed on the road. Agni's hand drifted to the window, her fingers tracing patterns on the glass.

They drove on, the silence between them growing more comfortable with each passing mile. They both knew that they had to talk about what had happened, but for now, they were content to simply be together.

As the landscape outside changed, rolling hills giving way to dense forests, Aniket reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair behind Agni's ear. She turned to him, her eyes sparkling with emotion.
