" falling , flailing , and figuring it out "

The morning after the night before, Aniket and Agni woke up with pounding headaches and foggy memories. As they slowly pieced together the events of the previous night, their faces turned bright red with embarrassment.

It started with a few drinks at the party, and then... well, things got hazy. But one thing was certain - they had both done something they regretted. Something they couldn't even bear to think about.

As they avoided eye contact, the tension between them was palpable. The rest of the group sensed it too, exchanging curious glances and whispered conversations.

"Hey, what's going on with you two?" their friend asked, but Aniket and Agni just shrugged it off, not ready to confront the awkwardness.

But avoidance only made things worse. The silence grew thicker, and the group's chatter began to fade, as if everyone was waiting for the elephant in the room to be addressed.

Finally, Aniket broke the silence, his voice barely above a whisper. "Agni, can we talk?"

Agni nodded, and they stepped outside, into the bright sunlight, which only made their hangover worse.

"Look, I don't know what happened last night..." Aniket started, but Agni cut him off.

"I think we both know exactly what happened," Agni said, their voice laced with embarrassment.

As they slowly recounted the events of the previous night, their faces grew hotter, and their words tangled in awkwardness.

They had... um... sung a duet of a cheesy Bollywood song, complete with dramatic hand gestures and off-key warbling. And then, things took a turn for the worse. They had shared a sloppy, drunken kiss, which was more like a messy collision of lips.

The memory was mortifying, and they both wanted to crawl under a rock and hide.

"I'm so sorry," Aniket said, his eyes downcast.

"Me too," Agni replied, their voice barely audible.

As they stood there, the awkwardness hung between them like a challenge, daring them to confront it head-on.

But for now, they just stood there, frozen in embarrassment, unsure of how to move forward.

The rest of the group, sensing the tension, gave them space, but the unspoken question lingered - what next?

Will Aniket and Agni be able to move past this embarrassing incident, or will it create a rift between them? Only time will tell.

As the days went by, the awkwardness between Aniket and Agni only intensified. They avoided each other, sticking to opposite ends of the room, and barely exchanged a word.

Their friends tried to intervene, but even their best efforts couldn't break the ice. It was as if Aniket and Agni were two strangers, forced to coexist in the same space.

One evening, as they were all hanging out in the living room, Aniket's phone started playing the tune of that cheesy Bollywood song they had sung together. Agni's eyes met Aniket's, and they both looked away, their faces burning with embarrassment.
