A bee flies around my head as I lay in a vast, green meadow. Hand in hand with another person. I don't know who the person is. I just know it's comforting to have them there with me while I stare into the clouds, picking out various shapes. Some are just normal cloud shapes. But some look like love hearts, and flowers, and... and a phone?

My eyes shoot open, I look beside me to find out what the buzzing and vibrating was actually coming from. My phone screen flashes on and off as my phone is spammed with messages. I rub my eyes in attempt to get rid of the foggy sheet that covered them before sitting up and grabbing my phone.

"13:23"

damn, had I really slept in this late? oh well, it's the weekend, I deserve it. I unlock my phone and see that a group chat that has randomly appeared is going crazy, and everyone has messaged me atleast once. why am I the subject of today? I check the new group chat titled "Hangout" and read the last few messages.

We've been stood outside for the past like five minutes bro!

huh? what do they mean they're outside? surely not.
I roll out of bed sluggishly, and make my way through my house, walking downstairs and soon enough reaching the door. I firstly look through the peep-hole, but due to the cold temperatures fogging up the glass, I couldn't see much. I could definitely hear them though. All of them.
I open the door and Souda practically bursts in, toppling ontop of me as we both plunge to the floor.

Hajime: "Wha- what the hell!? Why are you all at my house this earl- well. not early."
"And get off of me Souda !"
everyone else plows in, not thinking of helping us up.

Souda: "Sorry man, but it's freezing!! Have you got a blanket or ten?"
his teeth chatter.
I sigh and throw him off of me. Picking him and myself back up off of the floor. I wipe the snow off of me that had now slightly wet my shirt. The main entrance to my house was now covered in melting snow. Great. That'll be something to clean up later.

Sonia: "Apologies for the uninvited visit, Hajime. But we all wanted to hang out! and unlike our dormitories, where Akane and Nekomaru always feel the need to fight at unearthly hours, yours is very calm and peaceful, and barely anyone actually lives around here!"
I suppose she's right. Their dormitories are a mess, and because my family pays so much for me to attend hopes peak, I get a full blown house on campus, just as any other reserve course student does. Which is honestly quite nice. It's peaceful. I snap back to reality remembering I have half of the main course of hopes peak in my house and sigh.

Hajime: "It's fine I guess. I understand where you're coming from. So I take it you all wanna hang out, right? Where though? The town is ridden from top to bottom with snow!"

Chiaki: "Well, we were wondering if we could all have a sleepover here and play video games, watch movies and stuff. We brough snacks so you don't have to sort that out. And I brought a games console, so it's nothing you have to worry about. You just need to sort everyone places to sleep."

A sleepover? seriously? it's a bit childish, but I suppose there isn't actually anything better to do than that. Plus I'd like to get closer to them all considering we aren't in the same classes. They're in the main course because they were all chose to be there due to their talents, and Nagitos there because he was lucky. I'm just a talentless nobody, who's parents have the money to afford a place like this. I don't really deserve friends like them. Yet they still stick around.

Hajime : "Fine, you can sleepover. I'll sort you all places to stay for the night I guess. There's two spare bedrooms, so I guess if you want, Sonia and Chiaki can go together since that makes the most sense. I don't trust Souda in a room alone with Sonia so."

Souda: "Rude!"

I can't help but laugh a little.

Hajime: "And uhh, I guess uhm. Souda and Hiko can go in the other guest room. Nagito, you can stay in mine I suppose."

I don't know why I didn't tell them all to just leave, to be fair it was a bit stupid even letting them in in the first place. I should've just shut my eyes and pretended they didn't exist, but for some reason I kind of wanted them there with me? it's strange. I don't know why I want them there. I could live perfectly fine without them. I guess it's just the comfort of them being around that I enjoy the most.

Nagito: "Are you sure, Hajime? I can sleep elsewhere, I can even go back to my dorm if you want. You wouldn't want a nobody like me in the same room as you."

Nagito always put himself down. I don't know why. He's a great guy. I don't know if he's self conscious, or why he would be self conscious. I meant he's good-looking! Not in a gay way. I'm saying it in a friendly way. He's good-looking in a pal way. I'm not gay.

Hajime: "Shush, Nagito. You've just secured your place in my room. Accept it."

Nagito just nodded and smiled at that. Maybe he didn't wanna be with me? What if he thinks I'm weird? He's not exactly the person I'm the closest with in the friend group. If anything he's probably closer with Chiaki. Not me. I don't really have anyone I'm exactly close with. They don't see me too much because of how far the reserve course is from main course. It's only when we make plans that we really get to see eachother. It's nice having friends who want to see you instead of having to beg them to. It's nice. Makes you feel all warm inside. Like you're wanted in society for once instead of everyone looking at you like you're a freak. I don't know. I guess I enjoy it. What am I saying? I probably sound stupid right now. Whatever.

A/N.1: sorry for the way I do speaking. I tried to do it as "hey!" said kaz, a smile growing on his face. But I just don't like doing it like that because I can't think of enough words or replacing words for said so yk..
