{+} Ogamis pov {+}
Living in the Badlands wasn't bad but the Badlands were called Badlands for a reason. There were a million ways to get killed and a million reasons to kill. It makes the Sunsetters seem like saints compared to us, but I was born in the Deadlands then moved to the Badlands because it was hard to find prey, but it was even harder to get into the Badlands. So, that counts me out as a violent killer right, no. I was raised like one so I'm always one.
“I'm hungry, damn hunters haven't got back yet, haven't they?” I grumbled under my breath.
“What was that?!” A lion came up to me looking like he wanted to fight, it's not like fighting wasn't a part of my personality but I just wasn't in it today.
“Nothing nothing.” I say as I got up and trotted away to another cave that didn't smell like pee or poop or something else that I hate to talk about.
I finally hear the calls of one of the huntresses of the pride. Her name was Star. I didn't really care for her but she sort of grew on me so I guess she can consider me her friend and the same for me.
Dominic, the co-mane was the first to arrive at the scene, and I was second. He looked at me with a menacing stare but I just shook it off. Since Lucifer, the mane wasn't here, I just took the opportunity.
The hunting squad plopped down what seemed to be a tasty looking, oh that's not, that's not food.
It was a cub from the Sunsetters, it's dead too.
I'm hungry. I have to eat it.
No. You're not that cold-hearted, right?
Maybe? I'm desperate.
Ugh, it looks plump and yummy.
“Eat it, you know you want to.” Dominic said with a devious smirk. He looked like he wanted to frame me.
“It's a cub! I can't, I can't eat a cub!” I shouted.
“Ogami.” He said my name with authority, I had to follow his orders or else, I won't be able to eat for the rest of the time.
I step forward, picking up the dead cub's body. I started to chew on it slowly, it tasted....amazing. I quickly gulp it down, the other lions looking at me.
“Just so you know,” Dominic started, “That's the cub of the Sunsetter’s Mane.”
“I- you told me to-” he cut me off. “My pride! One of our no-manes, namely Ogami, has violated our peace treaty between us and the Sunsetters!” Dominic shouted.
"He had broken the treaty between the Badlanders and the Sunsetters. We must turn him over to the Sunsetters and clear our name!” He addrd
The pride called out angrily and threw rocks at me.
What have I done?
