7. Yuki and the Pervert

Yuki did her best to calm everyone down. Her friends were gathered around Mash and tried to get him to do stuff she could tell he didn't want to do. Tom kept bugging Mash about Duelo practice, and Lemon was trying to spend some alone time with Mash by offering to be his study partner. It was mostly those two that kept talking to Mash. Yuki kept waving her hands at the two who told them to leave Mash alone. Even when Mash said he didn't want to, they kept pushing.

"I could use a hand here, Finn," Mash silently pleaded with his roommate, only to find him sleeping. "You traitor."

Tom and Lemon constantly talking gave Yuki a headache. She took a deep breath and looked at the two before saying, "Stop talking."

Right as her voice reached their ears, Tom and Lemon shut their mouths. "Thank you," Mash breathed. Yuki smiled while giving him a thumbs up. Then she started to rub her head to soothe her headache. She only stopped because Mash placed his hands where she had them. "Headache?" Yuki nodded. She almost shook him off until she felt herself relax as Mash massaged her temple. "Better?"

Yuki nodded again with a relaxed smile. Lemon mentally gawked at the two before silently yelling at Yuki to stay away from Mash.

"Having fun over there?" Lance said as he strolled into the room. His eyes narrowed the way Mash's hands were almost cradling Yuki's head which almost looked like he was going to kiss her. "Mind if I join in on it?"

The first thing Tom noticed was the two marks on Lance's face, That guy's got two marks like Yuki. I've never seen him before. Is he a first-year? More importantly, Tom could feel the heated glare Lance was sending Mash, what did he do to piss him off?!

Lemon watched with her mouth gaped, It's Lance Crown. He ranked number one in the entrance exams. Seeing him up close, wow, he's hot. Then her eyes widened as she recalls his face on a certain shirt. THAT'S YUKI'S FIANCE! Good thing I didn't say that out loud, she might kill me. After the thought, Lemon went into a dream-like state with the background changing to pink with bubbles and stars surrounding her. So, she's telling me the truth about her and Mash being friends. That's great. I've already given my heart to him!

"Actually, it's not fun," Mash said as he released Yuki's head.

"Really?" Lance asked sarcastically. "Then let's do something that is fun."

Mash stood. "Something run like...Hide and seek?" Yuki covered her mouth to hide her laugh at Mash's confused expression. She should have known he would have taken Lance seriously.

"Pretty sure that's not what he meant," Finn stated.

Lance pulled out a bottle from his cloak. "See this bottle? It's a special magic tool. It dates back to an ancient time." He pulled the cork, opening the bottle. Lemon, Tom, and Finn were teleported inside. "It captures people, as you can see." Yuki crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at Lance. He never said anything about trapping her friends. "If you wanna get your friends out of it, meet me at the owl hut in the forest." Lance took out his wand. "I'll be waiting."

With a mere flick of his wand, Lance was engulfed in flames before he disappeared.

Yuki showed Lance toward the owl hut. She stood behind Mash as he and Lance had a little staredown.

"What's this about?" Mash wondered.

"A bet," Lance answered. "We're after the same things." He held up the two silver coins. "These things. Am I right?" Not to mention my fiance.

"Two silver coins?" Tom gasped. "Who is this guy? I thought only a few upperclassmen had two of 'em. And two lines? Oh, man, he's got a lot more magic power than any of us." He looked at Yuki. "Come on, Yuki, say something! You could take him, right?!" He gawked when Yuki was looking around the forest while pretending she didn't hear a thing. "Is she not paying attention to us?!"
