While Yuki was waiting for the first part of the exam to be over, she decided to play with Lance's hair. She sat on the stage with Lance between her legs as she gently massaged his scalp. Lance tilted his head back and closed his eyes at the comforting feeling. Yuki always loved doing this because she could feel his soft locks between her fingertips. She loved it even more when Lance fell asleep while she did it.

To make sure he was awake, she tapped his shoulder a few times. She held a thumbs up in question which Lance nodded and smiled in response.

"I'm fine. Just don't stop," he muttered as he relaxed again.

Yuki nodded as she continued running her fingers through. She had to stop as the earth shook. Not exactly the earth but the walls from the maze. Yuki's eyes widened since she understood that the walls were one meter thick and impervious to magic. Lance grabbed Yuki by her hips to pull her down from the stage and stood in front of her. The examinees gasped as a huge chunk of the wall was broken through with Mash and Lemon Irvine standing on the other side. Yuki let out a silent gasp. Mash doesn't have magic but can punch through a wall. She was flabbergasted and wondered how strong is Mash.

"He - He just walked straight out of there!" Claude gasped.

Yuki wanted to applaud Mash but the other applicants thought Mash cheated and shouted how he should go home. Yuki wanted to tell the examinees to shut up because all they had to do was escape the maze. Which is what Mash did? It wasn't his fault that they didn't specify that one can't just make an exit.

Mash slumped as everyone glared at him and continued to yell at him to leave. "I wish I could," he muttered.

"You punched your way out! That's not the point of a maze," one kid argued with his fist up in the air.

"You're right."

Another threw his hand up and shouted, "You're supposed to get lost then find the exit!"

"Yeah, you're right." Yuki felt bad for Mash. The more people yelled at him, he got gloomier and started to look like a sad puppy. She went around Lance and started making her way toward Mash as more examinees shouted rude comments at him.

One guy gave Mash a thumbs down. "You don't know what a maze is!"

More students started continued to scream at Mash to go home. Mash was getting gloomier by the second. His head snapped up when Yuki stood in front of him, glaring at all the applicants with a disappointing frown on her face.

Mash's eyes widened. It's her.

The group of students returned her glare. "Hey, what are you doing?! You better not be defending him!"

"He's a cheater! He should be sent home!"

"He doesn't understand what the whole point of a maze is!"

Seeing as she was not speaking, the guy from the middle of the riot clenched his teeth and yelled, "What the hell is your problem? You're not going to say anything!"

Oh, no, Lance thought as he felt a bit of anger and jealousy bubble inside his stomach. Anger towards the applicant for yelling at his fiance and jealous because she's defending some random guy.

Yuki's glare hardened at the group as she took a deep breath. "Go shit yourself," she cast.

A sonic wave came out of her mouth and toward the group. They froze in place until they felt their stomachs rumble. A loud fart came from one guy while another felt himself turtlenecking. Soon the others let out a wet fart as their pants got damp and felt something wet and disgusting sliding down their leg.
