we can immediately get 6 characters out of the way which we know won't win: priya, bowie, julia, wayne, caleb, and millie
all of them were already finalists so there's no shot at them winning since they dont let tyat happen
you could argue that millie might have a shot because shes the only finalist in total drama history to not reach 2nd place or higher and in the past there have been 2 characters who got 3rd in one season then 1st in another (zoey and heather) but again, neither of them were in the finale when they placed third because 3 person finales weren't a thing yet. so i'd say millie is a no-go
with those 6 out of the way we're left with axel, ripper, nichelle, scary girl, mk, damien, raj, emma, chase, and zee. one point i wanna bring up that can also easily get rid of a few of these characters is that a few of these characters have never outlasted another character that is significant to them. its hard to explain but basically: - axel has never ourlasted ripper - raj has never outlasted wayne or bowie - mk has never outlasted julia - and nichelle and scary girl just havent made it to merge yet
in season two there was a lot of missed potential with the characters. obviously one reason for that is that its a thirteen episode season so they had to rush some things but what i mean here is that they never even gave a decent chunk of characters time to shine and just gave characters like priya and julia two entire seasons worth of screen time (yes, priya and julia were both present in every single episode of the reboot)
in season three the odds of them doing this again are definitely lower to the point where i'd be actually ridiculous if they kept the same main characters again. this means that theres a better chance that characters like axel, mk, nichelle, and scary girl would make it farther in season 3.
i could see someone like ripper winning but unless they make him outlast axel AGAIN and possibly change his character a tiny bit again in season 3 i just cant see it happening. and thats coming from someone who LOVES ripper 😭
as for zee there's no *solid* reason why he couldnt win and i could for sure see him being a finalist but he would probably be more of a joke/comedic relief win like owen and wayne considering how zee is. since we just had wayne win, i dont really think zee would win right after him but if we ever got a fourth season i could see it
and thats officially half the cast covered!! 🥳
next i wanna get nichelle and scary girl out of the way: theres genuinely no way scary girl is winning but ill talk about her too anyways
both nichelle and scary girl are gag characters that still need a storyline in season 3, since neither of them have even done anything so far. i could see both of them getting decently far but i doubt either of them are winning just because of what their gags are. scary girl is a character made purely for entertainment purposes, i mean they literally refer to her as scary girl when she has a confirmed name. i could see her getting a small plotline of making a friend/accepting who she is or a decently long plotline of getting revenge on everyone for season 2 but still i mean cmon its scary girl i love her but shes not gonna win even if she does get far
