Mess and guess - Prologue(discarded)

"so?" The elder asked in a growl, his raspy voice echoing through the small cave. "Where is this reckless eel brain?"

"We have not found him, sir." The smaller dragon spoke sheepishly, avoiding eye contact.

The elder groaned. "Running away like a bunch of smothering smokebreaths that just stole from an alpha! Coward!" He kept his tone down, not to call much attention as the cave wasn't exactly hidden.

"He's just a bit... Adventurous, dad, calm down, he'll be fine..." The female spoke, though her voice was calm, she had concern nagging at her.

"We are hidden for a reason! He's gonna become a history to scare away dragonets!" The elder retorted.

"Dad!" She exclaimed, sighing afterwards. "He'll be back... Just... Give him time.."

The female nudged the elder before flying off. The smaller dragon followed.

A wine red and black armored dragon, with tusks, claws and stingers entered the cave, hanging by the ceiling.

"Sir?" The dragon spoke.

"Yes, Terracotta?" The elder said calmly.

"The barrier has been.. broken- well, not fully, but still- the fissure is the cause." Terracotta said, a bit concerned. "We couldn't locate the trouble maker... Somehow it keeps itself hidden under the radar.."

"The barrier?" The elder sighed. "Ugh, that brat is going to give me migraines..."

"The youngling is at it again?" Terracotta jumped to the ground.

"This time he hit a record. A whole week."

"He should be fine, he never came back hurt.." Terracotta tried to calm down his friend.

"He'll reveal that we exist, Terra!" The elder snarled.

"I'd say that the trouble maker will first... But hey, we can fight them off, right?"

The elder sighed, preparing to take off.

"Burn them to extinction next time.. and if you see that brat, force his scales back home, he'll hear from me." He took off as he finished.

"And off he goes..." Terracotta sighed before taking off in the opposite direction.
