"Yes, You can"

Woo hoo. Tomioka-san approves me to go to the final selection, but i do feel quite nervous.. what if i dont go back alive..? what would Tomioka-san feel..? All those thoughts were pushed away when Tomioka-san patted my head. my eyes widen for a bit especially from someone like him as he said calmly and simply..

"Dont die on me."

Yes Akari, you must not die.. or else Tomioka-san will be very sad and dissapointed.. will he be..?

"Promise."

He almost reminded me of Fumiko but totally different personality, tho.. they both are a part of my life.. so..

"Good."

He muttered out as he took a glance at the door. Next week will be the final selection so i need to train very hard!

I kept training and training! I needed to succeed Tomioka-sans expectations! I dont want to be useless..

One thing i felt changed was my stamina and speed, i felt much faster ever since i did my first training.. and i can be able to perform the first to fifth forms without collapsing..

I started to train my physical strength now, it wasnt as easy as i wasnt as big as Tomioka-san but i didnt let that stop me. I wanted my family to ever once think im ever useful..

After training, i felt sweat dripping from my body as i drank a cup of water

After days and days. It was time for me to leave to go to the final selection. Tomioka-san looked at me before saying..

"Remember what i taught you and dont let it be in vain. Akari Kimura."

I could tell hes worried about me, that just adds an extra reason why i promise myself to survive..

"Yes, i will. Tomioka-san!"

He almost had a smile on his face but looked away before i even saw it. I then turn around and get ready to go to the final selection..

I rushed into the wilds. outside of Tomioka-sans estate as i started running and dashing to.. mount fujikasane if i remember.

God. Its been halfway and my legs are starting to have cramps. How does Tomioka-san even run this fast without exhausting him self..?

After what it felt like eternity. I arrived just in time with a nichirin borrowed from Tomioka-san. I looked to my surroundings.. there were many people. Really many people. I was quite nervous because when i was a kid, my family never letted me go outside and normalize socializing.. there were also many pretty wisteria flowers. I wish i could plant one of them in Tomioka-sans estate. But i doubt he allows it anyway..
