"sam" colbys voice still Shakey from crying "look a map" "omg colby we are going to get out of here!" sam squealed in excitement they both stand up and gather themselves before colby grabs the map and sam turns on a flashlight Sam's breath came in ragged gasps as he stumbled down the dimly lit corridor, his flashlight casting eerie shadows on the peeling wallpaper. The air had the scent of dust and disinfectant, a stark reminder of the hospital's abandoned state. Colby, a few steps behind, clutched a crumpled map to his chest, his eyes darting from side to side, searching for a way out of the labyrinthine building.
The floorboards groaned under their weight, echoing through the emptiness like a mournful song. The silence was only occasionally pierced by the distant sound of a door slamming shut, sending a shiver down their spines. They had been filming for their YouTube channel when the terrifying events unfolded. Now, the thrill of the chase had turned into a desperate quest for survival. They stopped the cameras to focus on surviving."We need to find the exit," Sam panted, sweat beading on his forehead. His hand tightly gripped the flashlight, knuckles white from the strain.
Colby nodded, his eyes wide with fear. He unfolded the map with trembling hands, trying to make sense of the tangled corridors and staircases. "I think we're on the third floor. We should head down and look for a main exit." They picked up their pace, trying to be as quiet as possible despite the clatter of their own footsteps. The occasional creak of a door or the rustle of fabric seemed to follow them, and they could feel the presence of something unseen. The coldness in the air grew more intense, making them shiver.
Sam and Colby had been wandering the eerie corridors of the abandoned hospital for what felt like an eternity. The harsh fluorescent lights flickered overhead, casting jolting shadows on the peeling wallpaper. The air was stale, a mix of dust and the faint scent of antiseptic that had long lost its battle against time."I can't believe we're still in here," Sam murmured, his voice barely above a whisper."Neither can I," Colby agreed, his eyes darting around the corridor as if expecting something to jump out at them.As they approached the exit, a sudden chill swept through the air, making the hairs on the back of Sam's neck stand on end. His heart pounded in his chest, a rhythmic echo bouncing off the empty walls. Just as they were about to step through the door, something cold and unseen grabbed Sam's arm, jerking him back into the bowels of the hospital. He yelped in surprise, his eyes wide with terror.Colby spun around, adrenaline surging through his veins. He saw nothing but the flickering shadows, but the grip on Sam's arm was unmistakable. "Hold on!" he shouted, lunging forward to grab Sam's other arm. He felt the resistance, a force pulling his friend backward, and he dug his heels into the floor, pulling with all his might. For a moment, it was a tug of war between Colby and the unseen entity. The sound of their grunts and Sam's whimpers filled the corridor. With a final, desperate pull, Colby managed to free Sam from the spectral grasp. They stumbled out of the hospital, the heavy metal door slamming shut behind them with a thud that echoed into the night. But when Colby turned to check on Sam, his heart sank. Sam's eyes were glazed over, and his body hung limp. "Sam? Sam, can you hear me?" Colby's voice trembled with fear. He gently slapped his friend's cheek, trying to get a response. Nothing. Sam's skin was cold to the touch, and his breaths were shallow. Colby knew he had to get him out of there, fast. He cradled Sam's body in his arms and sprinted to the exit, the chilling wind cutting through his clothes as if he were running through a wall of ice.
