I woke up with jade sprawled across my bed. I laughed and got up. I slowly
Stumbled down the stairs and went to the counter where the smell of bacon and pancakes was coming from. I sat on the chair at the counter and looked to see my mom making breakfast.

I noticed a plate with bacon on it. I smirked and went to grab a piece when someone slapped my hand. I turned around to see my dad. I gave him a death glare and reached for another piece of bacon.

"Don't you even dare," my mom said giving me a stern look. I threw my hands up and retreated back to my room.

Jade was still asleep on my bed. I walked into my closet and grabbed a white crop top with light high-waisted Jean shorts and headed towards my bathroom. once I finished getting changed I grabbed a cup from my bathroom and filled it with water. I walked over to jade and held the cup over her face. I smirked and mouthed sorry.

"What the.." she turned and glared at me. my eyes widened. she jumped off the bed and right onto me. after a few minutes she finally got off and walked over to my closet.

"What do you want to do today?" She asked getting clothes from my closet. I really didn't mind we were like sisters anyway. we met in preschool fighting over a purple crayon. she walked into my bathroom and shut the door.

"I don't know?" I shrugged and fell back into my bed. she walked out and did the same.

"Same, and you k ow this is a total Tumblr moment right now!" She giggled and sat up.

"Oh, let's go to the beach and find hot guys," she smirked and got up. I followed her and we walked down to the kitchen. my mom greeted her like another daughter she never had.

"Hey, sweetie!" My mom said cheerfully. "Jade, the daughter I never had, how are you?"

"I'm good actually and indie and I are going to the beach after this, is that ok?" She asked giving a innocent look. I rolled my eyes and reached for a piece of bacon.

"Ya, sure that would be fine!" Said my mom walking up to the stove and returning with two plates.

"Thanks mom," I mumbled while grabbing a plate and syrup.

"Anytime," she winked and returned back to the stove.

As soon as I started to eat I heard someone open the door. I turned to face my brother halfway through the door.

"Mom, I'm going with Alex," he shouted. "I'll be back around 4." He turned back around and slammed the door shut. I winced and continued eating.

"You know if you eat that much you get fat," said jade with a strange look on her face.

"Well, I, not fat yet now am I!" I smirked.

"Ya  Ya, what ever," she rolled her eyes and got out of her seat. She grabbed my arm and pulled me up the stairs. She opened my bed room door and pulled me through slamming it shut. I winced and retreaded to my bed. Jade walked over to my dresser and pulled out a black and teal triangle bathing suit, along with a blue and orange triangle one. She threw me the black and blue one and pointed to the bathroom. I slowly got up and walked to the bathroom. I stuck my tongue out at her and shut the door. A few minutes later I walked out with my bathing suit on soon to find jade siting on my bed already dressed.

I looked at her and shrugged. I pulled my shorts and crop top back on and grabbed our beach bag. I grabbed her arm and linked our arms together. We walked down the stairs and said bye to my parents. I opened the door and handed jade the bag.

As soon as I walked out the door I turned to jade and smirked.
"I bet I can beat you to the beach!" I yelled sprinting down the sidewalk. we started running, till I hit something really hard. I fell to the ground and looked up. my eyes widened, "omg it Matt someone help me, I probably look stupid!"
