Laki could feel the warm sweat sliding down his forehead, his hands were shaking, and his bat was often tapping the side of his thigh. He was paranoid. His eyes darted from side to side as he observed his surroundings.
How did he end up in this position, you may ask? Well, let me explain how he got stuck in this predicament a few weeks ago...
The entire class of 9C were going camping, but little did they know, the teachers and principal chose to camp out at the Black Dale Woods, it was more commonly known as the Blood Woods from the media since people who ventured into the Bloods never returned.
As the sight of the Black Dale's Willow trees spread across the window, the entire class knew that they had finally arrived at their camping ground. The whole class excitedly got off the bus with their packs before looking for a good camping spot where they planned to stay for a week.
"Please stay in your group, don't go wandering off, this forest is very big, and you can easily get lost! Also please set up tents near the teachers' tent thank you" Mrs. Regenald told the entire class as a warning. Mr. Taji stood next to her looking at the map marking down their location. Some kids didn't have a problem with Mrs. Regenald's rules like Arnold and Arthur but kids like Jack and Josh didn't listen, no surprise there.
