Bristlefrost woke up in a place with little to no cats.

"Where am I? Snowtuft?" What is this place?" Bristlefrost was confused why, and how she even came here. She was just in the dark water a minute ago. Where is this place? Bristlefrost could not believe she was in a whole forest, when she just was at the Dark Forest. I want to go home. This is your home now. Bristlefrost heard a voice. Was there cats in this place she couldn't see after all? What is this place? The Place of Lost Stars. Bristlefrost was confused. She never heard of this place at all. What is that? It's a place where Lost Spirits go to. Spirits can become one if they die, or fade from memories. She now understood why she was here. Who are you? I am a spirit of an ancient cat, way before StarClan. Did this mean that this place is older than StarClan? Is this place older than StarClan? Yes. It existed long ago, when cats lived at the lake, before the tribes existed. They had a belief in afterlife, which became the base of StarClan. Bristlefrost wondered if the place was always like this. Was this place always like this? No. I didn't even exist until a few moons ago. What? Bristlefrost couldn't understand why this place didn't exist. It was swallowed by StarClan, causing all cats to become a lost soul that can only talk to Lost Spirits. Why did it disappear by StarClan? Bristlefrost wanted to find out more. StarClan did not want another afterlife existing, so it destroyed all the other ones, except the Dark Forest, which they almost destroyed, but did not because of the balance between them. Bristlefrost was getting more confused. Then how did this place re-exist? Ashfur caused this to happen. Ashfur. Anger surged through Bristlefrost. Ashfur. He had caused all of this to happen. Even after her sacrifice, she couldn't be with Rootspring, which was unbearable to her. Ashfur broke the balance between StarClan and The Dark Forest, causing The Place of Lost Stars to break free from the barrier StarClan created. Then why is it still here? Even if StarClan restored the balance, there are cats that are still remembered like you, Bristlefrost. That is how this place exists now. Will it be destroyed if I'm gone? No. Snowtuft is also remembered. Oh. Bristlefrost thought of something. Maybe I should check this place out? This was to think about what happened, not stay here without acceptance.

"Hey," Snowtuft called Bristlefrost.

"Why?"Bristlefrost answered.

"Just. I thought you were lost, doing nothing for the past few minutes." Snowtuft was relieved.

"Hey, should we check this place out?" Bristlefrost was going to look around, to find rest. "Well, aren't we stuck here?"

"I guess so."

"Then we should find a place to think about moving on."

"Ok. I know this place well." Bristlefrost couldn't understand what that meant. How did he know this place, when less than a moon passed since he came here? Bristlefrost followed Snowtuft, to find herself in a camp-like place in the forest. "Let's move on. I'll tell you about this place later." Snowtuft said, as he continued forward. Soon, they were at the edge of the forest, with four trees. "This is Fourtrees." That name felt familiar to Bristlefrost. Snowtuft understood the look on her face, and decided to say it. "Actually, this is the old Clan territories. There were only four Clans, since SkyClan was droven off the forest." How is this place here? Bristlefrost wondered, since this place was not supposed to be the old camp. Was this place like this? No. Twolegs destroyed the forest, bringing this place here. Remember, this is The Place of Lost Stars. Bristlefrost understood what it meant. The landscape in this place was formerly a real place cats of the Clans lived in. I want to go back to my real home. You cannot go back. Bristlefrost knew she couldn't, but she hoped more and more, thinking about Rootspring and getting together. What are the places I can communicate to StarClan? Bristlefrost tried her hardest to remember what Graystripe had told her, when she hanged out together. Wait. The Moonstone.

"Hey. I'm gonna go somewhere. Don't worry about me." Bristlefrost left Fourtrees, running through the woods, to locate the feeling of ThunderClan camp. Where is it... Bristlefrost couldn't sense where she was properly. There! Bristlefrost ran through the camp, to find the Thunderpath. What? There was no Thunderpath. Only darkness. She advanced, only to find the ground crumbling down.
