Where am I? Bristlefrost woke up after she arrived. What is this place? Bristlefrost soon realized what this place was, after seeing a rock shine from the silver moonlight, which illuminated the room. The Moonstone? Bristlefrost remembered what she was doing. I just came from the Place of Lost Stars. Bristlefrost was too tired, after what had happened. It seemed like her injuries weren't gone yet. It's time to rest, again. She once again felt helpless, and that she could not get to him.

Why am I back? In this place? Bristlefrost felt a rush of panic inside her chest, as she saw the reflection of Rootspring drift further away. No! Why? Why am I like this? Let me go back! Bristlefrost's panic caused her to forget the fact that she was not there. She soon got up. Phew. At least it wasn't real. Bristlefrost couldn't let herself to comfort, as she had to return. She rushed outside of the Mothermouth, to find herself she couldn't imagine of it being the Clans' old territories. Why is this place full of Twoleg nests? How did they live in a place like this? Bristlefrost's mind was filled with questions, on how the old forest became this. Did they actually live here? Her mind was doubting the past, and she was losing her hope. How would she get to the lake, when everything was not normal?

"Hey, are you lost?" She heard a voice. She saw a white tom, with black patches on his pelt.

"I don't know. I probably am lost. This place is different from when I last heard about here." Bristlefrost as relieved that another cat was living nearby. However, she was too tired to do anything, and already lost hope in returning. It seemed like Ashfur would cause destruction once again.

"I also remember it being a forest. Hi. I'm Clover. What is your name?" The tom started to introduce himself.

"Bristlefrost." Bristlefrost noticed Clover getting confused. Did he know about the Clans? Or did he find the name new?

"Oh. I'll tell you more about this place." Clover walked into the group of Twoleg nests, with Bristlefrost following through. Bristlefrost felt that Clover was hiding something. What does he want to hide from me? Clover felt something. I might have to tell her later. Clover noticed that  Bristlefrost knew something. Bristlefrost noticed Clover was hiding something. Does she know? Clover threw the thought away. "So, this place is where I usually find food. It's not that good, but I can handle it." Clover broke the silence.

"Well, I used to hunt for food. Like mouse and birds." Bristlefrost now felt that she should be moving on. Why do I have to stay like this? I could just leave and go back. However, she felt something, that would make her regret it if she ignored it. Why do I feel this? What is this? She couldn't understand why she was feeling this. She couldn't just let it go. "Well, I actually never lived here. I only heard about it."

"Oh. It's fine. Living here isn't that big of a problem. It's just that some strays attack you sometimes. I can hold them back." Clover's life seemed to be not that safe. With a Clan protecting herself, Bristlefrost forgot about the dangers a loner would face. She was living a safe life without problems of food, shelter, and dangers. She could get food easily when her conditions were not right, get no dangers of losing her shelter, and there were Clanmates to keep herself safe. She was blinded from this fact, and thought that it was a normal thing to happen. But now, things changed. She didn't have her Clanmates. Only Clover. She had to hunt at any cost, just to keep herself alive. This was a very large wall to her, especially when she was tired and full of pain, from the Dark Forest. She had lost hope, but was not lost completely. She had thought that if she could survive with Clover, she would regain her strength and set out to find Rootspring. She had planned it all.

"Well, can you handle for my food, until I regain my strength?" Bristlefrost asked Clover.

"Maybe. I can help, but not that much." Clover answered, and Bristlefrost felt better, since her plan was working. Wait just a little more, Rootspring. I'm coming for you.

Sorry for the wait :(

I was out of time to write this. This was the hardest chapter to write tbh (I have plans for later chapters) I had barely anything to write here ;;;

Still yay I finished =)

I'll be writing the prologue of the first book of my new idea 'Shattered Stars' :)
