"Are you sure you're okay Luce?" I ask her with worry. Her eyes were literally close to closing, and her breathing okay. Our daily runs around campus were easier for me than for her, usually because shes nursing hangovers. When i hear her stop behind me i stop as well before saying "I think you should go see the nurse"

"Okay but you continue... get in shape... for... the balle-... ballet season" She stops herself numerous times, her breath getting caught up.

"Hey Victoria, Can i talk to you?" I hear Nika ask behind us.

"Me?" I question, she nods before looking at Lucy with concern.

"You okay Rivera?" She asks my best friend.

"Oh Muhl ... Yeah i'm fine... i heard my cousin dumped you for a new yorker that dropped out, is that true?" She asks, Nika and I sigh. "If you need me, i'll be in the nurses office looking up Glen Powell in Anyone But You" she points a finger towards us, before stumbling and heading to the building.

Nika turns to me and starts saying "Look, i'm flattered really, but I-i didn't really expect this and yeah it was great seeing you back home-"

"What are you talking about?" I'm confused.

"-and i thank you that you think that i play with passion-" she continues, but i tune her out, when i notice her phone. The email oh my god. Oh my god.

Dear Nika,

I stare at the phone in shock. I see black spots around Nika, and suddenly, my body collapses to the ground. 

"Wake up" I hear a voice yell. My eyes snap open. Nika Muhl stares down at me.

"What happened?" i ask groggily. Nika takes both of my hands and pulls them, making me sit up, i start rubbing the back of head.

"You fainted" She answers. I nod but before i could get up, i look behind her and see Cameron, his hand on his phone and he looks at me.

Oh god. Cameron. The Email.

Violet. Cameron and Violet, oh god.

"Oh my god, oh my god" I stress. Without thinking i pull Nika towards me and kiss her, she doesn't react until a few seconds and i think i feel her kissing back?

I let go, seeing Cameron looking shocked. I turned towards the basketball player and she's looking shocked as well.

What the hell is going on?

"Thank you" i say to her, getting up and start running like Usain Bolt. Going away, from my problems.
