(A bonus ending of what happened after the previous chapter! i have no idea where I disspeared to this whole summer im serious)

Asa had woken up in the middle of the night, blinking against the dim light filtering through the curtains. He was sprawled on top of Jesse, his partner, who he assumed was deeply asleep.

The headache throbbing behind his eyes was unbearable, sharp and unrelenting.

At that moment, he couldn't bring himself to care about how uncomfortable his position was.

The pain was too much, and he just wanted it to end. He'd deal with the awkwardness, and whatever teasing Jesse would throw his way in the morning.

That was future Asa's problem. Right now, he just needed to survive the night.

Hopefully, by morning, his headache would be gone.

Otherwise, Jesse might find himself in trouble, and Asa wouldn't hesitate to say something cutting, headache or not.

The thought brought a bitter chuckle to his lips, reminding him of a time not too long ago.

They were leaving a concert when they had a run-in with a different band, one whose vocalist didn't take too kindly to something Jesse had said. The tall brunette had scowled for a full minute, his mood soured by Jesse's casual sharpness.

It had been a tense encounter, but somehow, they made it out without a brawl.

But that was a distant memory. Right now, Asa just wanted to close his eyes and drift back to sleep, hoping nothing unexpected would happen in the night. That, however, was where he was wrong. Not even seconds after he slipped into unconsciousness, the real trouble began.

Jesse, far from being asleep, had cracked one eye open. He carefully assessed the situation before smirking to himself. It was showtime. He raised a thumb in the air as a silent signal before sitting up, making sure not to disturb Asa.

His movements were calculated, his goal clear. From his pocket, he pulled out a camera, grinning as Lyn appeared from behind the couch, camera in hand as well.

They crouched down, leaning forward to capture the perfect shot of Asa, unaware and vulnerable in his sleep.

This was not just about making memories. Jesse had plans for these recordings, plans that wouldn't exactly paint him as a good guy.

But hey, Skittles were Skittles, and he had a deal to uphold.

"You remember the deal, right?"

Lyn asked as Jesse passed nonchalontly the bag of colorful candy to Lyn, who eagerly snatched it from his hand, immediately tearing it open to begin munching, leaving only the lemon ones behind.

"We should do this more often," Jesse signed, a grin spreading across their face as they adjusted the focus on their camera. Lyn stifled a laugh, zooming in on Asa's peaceful expression.

"If that means more Skittles for me, then yeah, you've got yourself a deal,"

she muttered not really caring much what had to be done to obtain some bonus yummy candies for herself.

Lyn tossed more Skittles into their mouth before raising the camera once again.

Together, they took more photos and recorded videos, each shot more ridiculous than the last. It seemed like harmless fun-until Lyn checked the latest photo.

The playful mood instantly shifted as Lyn's heart practically stopped.

Sweat broke out across their forehead as they stared at the screen.

What should have been another silly picture of Asa turned into something much more terrifying. Instead of the serene, sleeping face they expected, the photo showed Asa glaring directly into the camera, eyes wide open.

Lyn's breath hitched as they shakily glanced over to Asa's resting spot, hoping against hope that it was just a trick of the camera. But no-Asa was awake, and worse, he was watching them.

Panic surged through Lyn as they frantically looked over to where Jesse had been, only to find the spot empty.

Jesse had vanished, leaving them alone to face Asa's by themself.

"I'll give you a two-minute head start," Asa's voice growled, low and menacing, from across the room.

"N-Not even five?!" Lyn stammered, eyes wide with fear.

But Asa wasn't about to show mercy. Without another word, he leaped over the couch, and Lyn bolted in sheer panic.

They ran toward the main entrance, heart pounding as Asa closed in on their heels, every step a reminder of the trouble they had stirred up in the dead of night.
