The strong sun beamed into the room from the window I let out a groan from the strong light.

I lifted my body before getting out of the bed looking over to the other side of the bed to see that Asa wasnt there.

As I walked toward my door and closed it behind me,

my nose caught the smell of something incredible coming from the kitchen. Asa was cooking, and when I tell you how his food made my day better, I'm not exaggerating.

No matter what kind of a mood I was in, smelling the food Asa had made immediately made me forget anything that was bothering me.

I finally reached the kitchen, and was delighted to see Asa making breakfast.

Jesse looked up from his phone, turned his head in my direction, and waved at me with a genuine, happy grin.

I smiled warmly at Jesse and looked up happily as Asa came over to us with two dishes, one in each hand.

He walked over to us and stood behind our seats at the table, placing the plates down in front of us.
As soon as he turned to leave, Jesse and I both reached for our empty plates.

Which now looked like they had never been touched, and said in unison.

"More!"

Asa stopped in his tracks and looked at us with a slight shock on his face, but quickly recovered paying no mind at it at first.

He picked up our plates again, added more food, and gave them back to us.

As he went to the stove putting his apron onto the handle of it me and jesse right after held out our plates awaiting more food
"more please!"
I said while Jesse signed it. Asa turned to us now in shock grabbing the plates suddenly.
