As the days went by, the distance between Sarang and Jeemin gradually narrowed. They grew closer, their friendship blossoming like a delicate flower. Sarang was overjoyed to have finally bridged the gap between them, even if it meant being "just friends" for now.

Sarang's warmth and kindness were slowly melting Jeemin's icy reserve, but Jeemin was hesitant to reveal too much, realizing where she belongs to. Despite this, their friends were thrilled to see the two girls getting along so well, and they welcomed Jeemin into their tight-knit circle with open arms.

As Sarang and Jeemin spent more time together, their bond deepened, and the air was filled with an unspoken understanding. Sarang's gentle nature was slowly chipping away at Jeemin's defenses, but only time would tell if their friendship would change into something more or they'd just remain friends.

They swapped numbers and followed each other on Instagram, and texting became their thing. Sarang and Jeemin would chat regularly, sharing stories, jokes, and secrets. Their conversations flowed easily, and their connection grew stronger with each passing day.

On this particular morning, Jeemin and Sarang made plans to travel to school together. Jeemin kindly offered to pick Sarang up, and Sarang welcomed the opportunity.

Just a good night and good morning text from Jeemin and Sarang would be dancing out of happiness

Jeemin💗

I'll be picking you up at 7:30

I'll be waiting for you at the front of my house

Okay good night

                                Good night Jeemin 💕

Following her morning routine, Sarang left her house and made her way to the designated meeting spot on the street corner, where she waited patiently for Jeemin's arrival, her excitement building with each passing moment.

As it was already 7:30 AM and Jeemin was running late, Sarang decided to send her a text, she was too busy in her phone and unaware of the approaching cycle. Just as the vehicle was about to collide with her, a hand grasped her from behind, and they both fell on the hard ground. Sarang, terrified, slowly opened her eyes to find no one else but Jeemin hovering above her, concern written on her face, her hand under Sarang's head to protect it from hitting the ground. Their gazes met, and Jeemin's worried expression only added to Sarang's fear.

Jeemin attempted to help Sarang up, but she winced in pain, revealing a bleeding gash on her leg. "Are you okay?" Jeemin asked anxiously. Sarang nodded towards her injured leg, her eyes welling up with tears. Jeemin's expression shifted from worry to to angry. "Who the hell uses their phone on a street filled with moving vehicles?" she scolded, her anger stemming from fear. Sarang cowered, intimidated by Jeemin's outburst.

"I was texting you because you were late," Sarang murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. Jeemin's expression softened as she realized her own fault in hiding behind the tree to surprise Sarang, which led to the accident. She gently took Sarang's hand cleaned her uniform from the dirt and helped her into the car. With tender care, Jeemin applied a plaster to the wound on Sarang's leg.

As they drove to school, an uncomfortable silence filled the air. Sarang's quietness was a clear indication of her hurt and anger towards Jeemin's earlier outburst. Jeemin noticed Sarang's silence and regretted her harsh words. She realized that her concern for Sarang's safety had manifested as anger, and she thought,

I think I was too harsh on her

Jeemin's guilt lingered, and she struggled to find the right words. She cleared her throat to gain the attention of the girl sitting in the passenger seat, "I'm sorry." Jeemin apologized,Sarang was taken aback by her words. Jeemin never apologized to anyone as she remembered. Sarang couldn't help but smile while looking away from Jeemin but decided to tease her, playing hard to get.

Jeemin's expression turned sincere, and she elaborated, "I'm really sorry for yelling at you. I didn't mean to scold you, I was just worried about you." Sarang's heart skipped a beat as she thought,"is she really worried about me?" A warm feeling spread through her chest.

With a bright smile, showcasing her dimples, Sarang finally decided not to tease her more said, "Okay, I'll forgive you this time." Jeemin's face lit up with relief, and she smiled back. The tension dissipated, and they continued their journey to school, the atmosphere now filled with a renewed sense of connection.

As they approached the school they realized that they were already late, the watchman was going to close the gate. Without hesitation, Jeemin grabbed Sarang's hand, and they ran towards the entrance together, hand in hand. Jeemin's stomach fluttered with butterflies as she felt Sarang's small hand fit perfectly in hers,  she never wanted to let go of this hand.

As they ran, Jeemin glanced back at Sarang, ensuring she was keeping up. By seeing the sight of Sarang's giggles, Jeemin's own laughter escaped her lips. In this moment, they both knew they cherished what they shared - a bond growing stronger with each passing day.

As they arrived at Sarang's classroom to drop her off first, they realized they were too late to enter. Exchanging a knowing glance, they simultaneously decided to ditch their classes, to avoid the lecturer's scolding. Hand still in hand, Jeemin asked, "What now?" Sarang's mischievous grin spread as she suggested, "Bunking the class sounds like a great idea!" Jeemin agreed and shook her head at sarang's naughtiness, and they strolled away from the classroom.

As they walked, Sarang asked, still unaware of their intertwined hands, "Where to now?" Jeemin's eyes sparkled with a familiar secret. "I know a place," she said, leading Sarang to the rooftop – her personal sanctuary whenever she felt down.

As Sarang gazed out at the breathtaking view of the city from the school rooftop, her eyes widened in wonder. "How have I never been up here before?" she asked herself, her voice tinged with disappointment. Jeemin turned to face her, a knowing smile on her face. "Do you like the view?" she asked, already aware of the answer.

Sarang's pouty lips curled into a charming expression. "Of course, I love it so much!" Jeemin's heart skipped a beat as she took in Sarang's adorable disappointment. She couldn't help but coo at the sight, her affection for Sarang growing with each passing moment, which was she afraid to accept.

As they stood there, taking in the view, they suddenly became aware of their hands still clasped together. Their eyes met, and they exchanged a brief, sparkling glance. Quickly, they looked away, releasing their hands as if startled by the realization. For a moment, they both felt a flush of embarrassment, the tension between them palpable.
