Enjoy!

For almost three hours, Ivan and I texted last night. The entire conversation was cool, basically random stuffs. Nothing about our love life or should I say my stupid feelings for him was brought up. He even asked me to send my pictures like he doesn't see me everyday of his life. I sent them anyways.

I asked why he wanted them, he said just to have them.

Once again like before, I tossed and turned on my bed trying to fall asleep because he occupied my mind just like right now in this stupid class.

As I took down notes, I couldn't help but slightly turn when I hear his laugh. Dude wasn't even paying that much attention to the teacher.

Neither I nor my friends have spoken since the first period of this two period class, except little things that are related to the topic. Nobody wants to annoy our teacher so we all paid attention and minded our businesses. Except the douche bags at the back.

"Mr Carson and friends, I have had enough. Out of my class this moment. Till the end of the week even." Our teacher said to Ivan and his buddies. "But sir, you can't do that. English is a really important class." Ty, the normal headed one of them, pleaded. "Tyree, you chose the wrong friends and that's just not my problem." Our teacher said.

Not my problem, that's just not my problem.

Few minutes after the boys were sent out, lunch bell rang.

"Your mom's egg sandwich is the best." Yasmine said as she swallowed the last bite. I brought one each for both her and Kayla since my mom didn't allow me make much and I promised them specially. "I know right? I actually did make these ones myself." I said. "No wonder something tastes off." Kayla said. "Girl, you are nuts. Nothing was wrong until now, right? No more sandwich." I said to Kayla. "Your mom is not going to say no whenever I come over." Kayla replied me. "When are you going to start sitting with your boyfriend again? I know y'all have sorted things out." I said. "Planned to sit with him today but luckily, you have some things to spill, so I'll be here for today." Kayla replied.

"He just walked in with Joe and Ty . Poor Ty always gets in trouble because of his choice of friends." Darla said.

"Joe has a thing for Mariah. My book club Mariah." I said. "Joe can actually like a girl???" Yasmine asked surprised. "I was shocked too. Ivan said they've only spoken like three or four times. He's nervous around her." I said.

"Oh, Ivan was the one who told you. Seems y'all spoke a lot last night." Gianna said. "Now I'm saying 'y'all' like you." She added making me grin.

"How did the conversation go?" Yasmine asked. "Same old for real. The fact that we always find a way to have normal conversations as if we're best friends is crazy. There's always one random thing or person to talk about." I said.

"The real question is, why is he talking to you now?" Gianna asked. "I don't know, he feels the need to torture me again. I mean, us talking again will always remind me that we could've been." I said. "We could've been and we try to pretend..." I started singing HER and Bryson's song. "You're so stupid. Not in the middle of this kind of conversation." Gianna said.

"And y'all think Kayla is the only stupid one?" Darla asked. "Nah, not just Kayla. You and Yasmine too." I replied then laughed. "Shut up." Yasmine said rolling her eyes.

"Babes, let's be for real, he's a stalker. Aaron's in the picture and you're happy then all of a sudden, boom, time to mess up your figured out love life." Gia said.

I really don't know if that aspect of my life is figured out.

"This bitch's love life is in no way figured out." Darla said. "I don't think any of ours is. Kayla, do not say except you, you inclusive." I said. "Honey, this is about you." Kayla said. "He can go to hell 'cause in Aaron we trust." Gianna said. "You can't let him ruin what you have going on with Aaron. You can't." Yasmine said in a 'period' tone.

"You guys, please, we only just started talking. It doesn't mean anything. Like you said Gia, in Aaron we trust." I said.

"When you are young they assume you know nothing..." I sang. I'm not a Swifty, just a girl who knows only five of Taylor's songs and I love 'em.

I'm sitting in the living room doing a research that'll be submitted on Friday, while Charlie is doing whatever the fuck it is. "Could you change the song, please?" He asked. "To?" I asked. "Your Lil Tjay playlist has some  good songs in it, so yeah, that." Charlie replied. "You're lucky you asked for my husband's playlist." I said making Charlie roll his eyes.

I picked up my phone from beside me and went to the playlist. Lil Tjay's FN started playing from the speaker on a low volume.

"Yo, I've got a game on Friday, you coming, yeah?" Charlie asked me. "Of course, your parents are gon' be there, they'll kill me if I missed it." I replied. "Your first game after your injury." I added. "Mmm, time to show them what I'm made of. Well, not like they don't know who I am on the court." Charlie said flexing his skills with an imaginary ball. "Shut up stupid." I said throwing a squeezed paper at him.
