The Busy Streets of Bangkok

The morning sun bathed Bangkok in golden light as Bee, an 18-year-old university student, hurried through the crowded streets. With his mind preoccupied by an upcoming exam, he was in a rush and didn’t notice the man in front of him until it was too late. He collided with him, sending his books tumbling to the ground.

I'm so sorry!" Bee quickly apologized, kneeling to gather his scattered belongings. When he looked up, he was met with the sight of a tall, impeccably dressed man, his gaze sharp and intense.

"Are you alright?" the man asked, his voice smooth and calm.

Bee, flustered by the man’s commanding presence, nodded. "Yes, I’m fine. Thank you."

The man offered a small smile. "I’m Lee."
Be careful next time," Lee said with a hint of amusement before walking away, leaving Bee standing there, heart racing and mind spinning.

The Café Gathering

That evening, Bee met his best friends, Tay and Me, at their favorite café near the university. The cozy atmosphere contrasted sharply with Bee's earlier encounter, and he found himself unusually quiet as Tay and Me chatted.

"You’re quiet today," Tay noted, sipping his coffee. "What’s up?"

Bee hesitated before admitting, "I met someone today… His name is Lee."

"Lee?" Tay and Me exchanged curious glances."Yeah, he’s… different," Bee continued. "He seemed important, like he’s someone I should know."

"Did you get his number?" Tay teased.

Bee shook his head, embarrassed. "No, I didn’t.

"Before the conversation could continue, the café door opened, and a man in a crisp white shirt and black slacks walked in. He approached their table with a confident stride.

"Bee," he said, his voice polite yet firm.Bee looked up, surprised.

"Yes?""I’m Ming, Mr. Lee’s assistant," the man introduced himself with a slight bow.

"Mr. Lee would like to invite you to dinner tomorrow evening.

"Bee was taken aback. "Dinner?"

"Yes," Ming confirmed, handing Bee a card with the details. "A car will pick you up at 7 PM.

"As Ming turned to leave, his gaze briefly locked with Tay’s. There was a moment of silent connection before Ming exited the café, leaving the trio in stunned silence.

"It looks like you’ve got a date," Me teased, nudging Bee.

Bee blushed, unsure of what he had just gotten himself into, while Tay found his thoughts lingering on Ming’s brief yet intense gaze.

A Mysterious Invitation

That night, as Bee lay in bed, he stared at the card Ming had given him. Part of him was nervous about the dinner invitation, but another part was undeniably curious. After all, Lee had left quite an impression on him.

With a deep breath, Bee made up his mind to go. He needed to understand why Lee was interested in him and what this unexpected encounter could lead to. Little did Bee know, his decision would set off a chain of events that would change his life—and the lives of those around him—forever.
