aw. Everyone is happy. Everyone finally can start their first day of school properly. Red is dancing with her mom. The mom that she dreamed her whole life of having. A mom that cared for her and was comforted by. She couldn't believe it. It was finally the day that she went to her first school. With actual people inside.

As Red was dancing she took a glimpse of Chloe with her mom. "mom can you excuse me for a second?" She told the queen of hearts and went over to Chloe. The blue haired girl was hugging her mom when she saw Red from behind her. "Oh mom I have to introduce you to Red!" Chloe said with excitement as she let go of her mother. "Red this is my mom Ella, mom this is Red" Chloe said. "We indeed have met before but you were little my dear you wouldn't remember. It's nice meeting you Red." She said smiling. Red smiled back. "Hey can I talk to you?" Red told Chloe as she grabbed her arm and pulled her to the side. I was about to tell you that from now on we are only classmates. We are not friends or whatever. I am not the person who makes friends" Red says to Chloe.
Chloe was taken aback by Red words. "You just don't change do you?" She told Red. "Some things never change. My only friends are Maddox and possibly my new roommate. Who I'll think about befriending after I talk to them" Red said. "You are unbelievable. UNbelievable." Chloe said as she stormed away from red.
The redhead deep down felt a guilt. Like she didn't want to talk that way to Chloe. She ignored these sudden feelings and pushed them deep down for the moment. She was already frustrated about the fact that her mom had turned into this love giving fluff with pink bubbles popping out of her deck of cards when all she could remember was that this deck of cards locked people in a castle.
She ignored her feelings again. She was good at that game. Numbness. It is her specialty. She learned to deal with that all these years. Red didn't have any friends growing up. Maddox was her only friend. He also has her only teacher, her mentor. She could rely on him and trust him. She came to realize that she won't have Maddox with her in Auradon and that made her upset.
For the moment red went back to her mother as they were both saying their final goodbyes. Visiting days were to be announced later in the week. "Promise me you'll visit me once those dates come" Red told her mom. She couldn't believe her own words. Red begging for her mother to do something decent for once and her actually doing it. "I promise darling. We have to go now with Maddox. Be good. And be yourself. Get yourself some friends" Bridget told her little girl. Red rolled her eyes. "I will mom. I promise" she told her. They both hugged.
From the other hand Chloe didn't have much going on. She was relieved that her mother was alive. She had friends and she sure was about to make some more. Unlike Red Chloe is a positive person that wants to meet new people. It is not that she is a people pleaser, not at all. She just wants people to like her for who she is. "We have to go now baby" Ella told her daughter. "Give Chad a call. He is very sorry he couldn't be here today." "Yeah right. He only cares about his stupid tournaments. Tell him if he really wants to talk to me he should come to visiting day" Chloe answered her mother giving her a hug. "Alright hon, you're going to your dorm now?" Ella asked Chloe. "Yeah I'm just heading over to get the second key because my roommate apparently got theirs" she told her mother. "Okay then. Be gentle with your roommate please. I'm sure you'll get along in the end" Queen Ella said as she closed the door to her ride and slowly starting to drive away. "I will mo- wait...what?! You know who my roommate is?!" Chloe shouted. "Bye bye honey" Ella said while waving at Chloe and smiling. "Wha- omg mom!" She said to herself.

Chloe stood outside her dorm room with her stuff as she was trying to open the door. She was holding one bag in one of her hands, she had a backpack on and two big suitcases. Her moving boxes with the rest of her stuff were already moved into the dorm. Before she tried to open the door all she could think of was her roommate. She wanted to make such a good first impression. She was replaying her mother's words in her head. "Be gentle with your roomate please. I'm sure you'll get along in the end" what was that supposed to mean? Did I knew my new roomie? I hardly know 5 people in Aurason and all of them already found their roommates. Unless... She quick tried to reach for the key without dropping anything. Suddenly the door opened and she was left speechless.
