From stone to flaming red.

IV

9:00am Saturday.

Chloe's alarm went off. She forgot to set it off for the weekend as they moved in their dorm room. "Chloe! I swear for the love of god, I'll kill you" Red says in her sleepy voice. "I'm sorry!" Chloe also said. In weekends breakfast is usually at 10:00am. Both girls hadn't realize that they were kind of late. Now you'll tell me "1 hour is late?" For a normal person no. But for two girls that share one bathroom in Auradon prep...yes. It's late.

"Wait. It's 9:00AM! Red! Wake up!" Chloe said as she realized. She got up and put her glasses on. Red stood up sitting in her bed rubbing her eyes. "you wear glasses?" Red asked Chloe. "yeah? I'm a little blind" Chloe joked. "Get up!" She added. Red scoffed and got out of her bed leaving a little stuffed giraffe on her bed that Chloe didn't even notice. "Aw is that a little giraffe?" She told Red. "Go get ready Chloe!" Red told her as Chloe giggled.

When Chloe got in the bathroom Red was smiling to herself. After a minute she caught herself simping over Chloe. "what the fuck red." She told to herself. "Snap out of it." She added. She didn't know the feelings she was experiencing over Chloe. They were new. She didn't want these feelings to be true. She thought it was wrong. Her mother would be disappointed in her. She couldn't like Chloe. After a while Chloe got out of the bathroom looking like the cleanest girl in Auradon. She was wearing a nice denim skirt with lots of details on it with belts overlapping one another. She had matched it with a blue tank top. She paired some pearls around her neck with a hint of gold in it and little gold hoop earrings. She wore the black boots that Red gave her when they timed travel and a nice dark blue headband in her light blue curly hair that was half up half down.

Red was staring at her. "what? It's there something wrong with my fit?" She felt like she had to look away but couldn't.  Her eyes were shifting up and down. "Snap out of it Red!" Her head screamed at her when she finally looked away. "Uh..no! It's...it's pretty." She said. Her eyes popped out of her head. "I mean I've seen better but" she added sarcastically trying to salvage her sayings. "yeah yeah whatever go get dressed we have to go!" Chloe says as she goes up to her vanity and puts stuff in her bag. Red heads into the bathroom and closes the door behind her. "What the fuck was that!" She talks to herself. "No no no no no. No red no. You can't like her. No." She goes up to the mirror and says at her reflection. "You are so stupid omg." She adds.

"What was that for" Chloe thought to herself after Red basically called her pretty. All she did was replay that moment in her head. "You can't like her. You just can't. Your mom will be disappointed in you once again." Chloe thought to herself. Minutes later Red came out of the bathroom wearing a black cargo pants and a red strapless leather top. The pants had a red belt on the that tilted to the side. She had waist chains on that matched her gold earrings and necklace She also wore a black bandana around her hair. She had a black bag and black boots like the ones Chloe had. As she came out of the bathroom Chloe looked at her and her jaw dropped. "What?" Red asked her as she noticed how Chloe's eyes were shifting up and down. Chloe quickly pulled herself together and answered. "No. It's also pretty" Chloe said making sure Red heard the also. "Okay...should we go now..?" Chloe snapped out of it. "Uh yeah yeah!" They both said and left the room.

As their were walking towards the cafeteria Red stopped for a second. "Um I have to tell you something." Red said. Chloe got anxious about what that something was. "okay what is it?" Chloe said as she looked Red dead in the eye. "When we walk out to the cafeteria and anywhere in general. We'll probably get some weird looks from people." Red told Chloe. "What do you mean?" Chloe asked back. "I mean that, people always look at me weirdly and judge me so..being seen with you can cause some reactions. I'm not the most liked person in here." Red told her looking down fidgeting with her hands. Chloe looked at her with pout eyes. She held Red's hands and Red directly looked at her. Chloe touching her caused her a tight feeling in her stomach. "I like you." Chloe said out of the blue. "what.." Red said as she was caught off guard. "AS A PERSON. As a person. I like you as a person and a friend. And I don't care what people will say because they don't know you  and they don't know us. Our friendship! And yeah." Chloe said as she started talking quickly. "What the fuck are you saying" Chloe thought to herself. "Okay." Red said as she smiled. Why did she smile? She shouldn't smile. She should also not care if Chloe liked her as something else. "Should we go now?" Red asked Chloe. "Yeah. Yeah." She answered and continued walking down the hall.
