From stone to flaming red.

As Chloe was doing her homework she heard the door unlock. "you will be sa- Chlo!" Red suddenly opened the door and hid something behind her back. "Hey Red." Chloe said curiously. "I didn't think you would be here I think you were studying in the library like you told me that you were going to do." Red tells her anxiously. "Okay what is behind your back." Chloe says clearly noticing her struggling to hold something. "Nothing." Red said as she looked at the floor and Chloe turned to her homework.

Both girls quickly looked at each other with wide open eyes. "No." Chloe said titling her head. "Please!" Says as she brings out a tiny orange kitten. "Red." Chloe says as she smiles. "Please please please! Can we keep him?!" Red pleads as she brings the kitten up to her face and cuddles him. "Where did you even find him." Chloe asks as she smiles and looks at Red. "I found him in a box next to a trash can, he looked at me, I gave him a little treat and he had been following me all day." She says as she cuddles the little kitten. "Oh my gosh. Red..." Chloe says as she looks at Red while she was already looking at her with pouty eyes. Chloe looked at her and couldn't dare to say no looking at that face. She sighed. She looked so cute. Her affectionate side showed for the first time and she was already loving it. "fine.." Chloe said. "Wait. Really?" Red said as she brought the kitten away from her face and looked at Chloe. "Yes. But if it pisses on my bed it's out." Chloe says. "Thank you!" Red said as she put the kitty to the floor and it run to Chloe.

Chloe picked up the kitten. "you are cute aren't you" Chloe said. Red looked at her and smiled. She couldn't help but just smile and stare at her. "okay so.." Chloe suddenly looks at Red catching her stare at her and then quickly looking away. She tries to hide her own smile from her. "We should definitely go shopping if we're keeping him. And we also need to find him a name." Chloe said as she was caressing the little kitten. "The name can wait. The shopping not tho let's go now." Red says to Chloe. "Okay are we leaving him here?" Chloe asks. "Yes. If you put him on a bed he will sleep in 5 minutes." Red says. "Oh okay then." Chloe says and places the kitten on Red's bed. The kitten gets comfortable and apparently ready for sleep. "Okay let's go. Chloe grabs both of their jackets and hands it over to Red. The two girls leave their dorm as they close the door behind them.

"Oh this this!" Red says to Chloe as she picks a blue little collar from the stocked ones in the store. "It will match you" Red says and smiles. "Yeah but I like the Red one!" Chloe says. "Ugh I cannot decide!" Red says. Suddenly they come across a purple one with darker purple stars. "Omg this is perfect!" Chloe says and Red agrees both not realising the Color combination. Suddenly they bump into Isla in the store. "Oh hi guys." Isla says as both girls give her a dirty look. "Okay I get you'll never want to hear me out but please just let me explain my situation." Isla says. The girls look at each other and let Isla talk. "I never wanted to cut you off Chloe. And I never thought for a second that you were weird or anything like that Red." Isla explains. "Merlia was a bad influence on me and manipulated me. I talked to her and she kind of realised her place but she isn't ready to talk it out. I am though. Can you at least forgive me?" Isla says. The girls looked at her and then at each other. "Look. You were horrible to Red not me. So the one you should be apologising to is her. If she is cool with you then we can be friends again but if she is not I won't even consider it." Chloe says confidently. Red looks at her proudly. She couldn't believe she stood up to her like that. She looked at Isla. She could understand that she was truly sorry so she forgave her. "Okay..fine..I forgive you." She tells her and watches her face light up of joy. Isla hugs them both, making Red uncomfortable. Chloe looks at her and mouths "just stay calm" so Isla wouldn't hear her. "God I was really hoping you two would say yes because I host a mask party in two days and I really wanted you to be there." Isla says as she hands them two invitations. "Oh! A mask party! That I've definitely been to before! And definitely know what this is!" Red says as she looks at Chloe. "We dress up as something and go. It's like a Halloween party but not spooky. It's more elegant." She tells Red. "Oh! Will there be alcohol?" Red asks Isla. "Um duh?" "Then we'll be there!" Red says and smiles without hesitation. Chloe looks at her surprised. Red looks at her waiting for her to hear a confirmation. "Fine. We'll be there." Chloe says and smiles.
