Cosmo and Sprout were just baking per usual, laughing and giggling and having fun as best friends would do, laughing when flour spilled on each-other.
" Uhm, Sprout can you get me the eggs? " Cosmo asked kindly, smiling over to his best friend.
" Aye aye caption! " Sprout said teasingly, as they smiled and happily went over to the fridge practically bouncing in the air happily.
Why wouldn't he be happy? He was with his best friend he had no worries around Cosmo.
Cosmo just smiled happily as they cracked eggs in the bowl and spoke. " Thank you Sprout. " He said their friendship bracelet gently sliding down their wrist.
Sprout as the happy guy he is, said. " Your welcome! "
As the orders came in from the toons, One order of soup from Goob where Goob specifically said 'no shrimp' in it, weird request but Sprout and Cosmo rubbed it off as they worked on it.
A order from Rodger for Toodles which was a ice-cream bowl. Sometimes the interviews from Rodger are annoying but Sprout isn't a person that put their grudges first.
And the orders seemed to fly by as well as time, laughter, the sound of the oven, The sound of his Cosmo. Wait huh? Ah! Not his Cosmo!! Sprout shook his head embarrassed as his already red face turned even more red with sudden thoughts.
Thank god Cosmo didn't notice, Sprout would just continue to bake with cosmo, and as soon as it started it ended as the toon's had to sleep.
Sprout felt slightly sad, He wanted to spend more time with his friend. " Hey Cosmo, wanna come to my room to play board games? " Sprout asked softly to Cosmo.
Cosmo nodded as he wanted to spend more time with Sprout, Sprout just smiled happily. " Yay! Come with me! " Sprout said as he grabbed his best friend's hand.
Cosmo slightly blushed but didn't mind it as they smiled at Sprouts happy face, he liked seeing his best friend happy.
Sprout's room is what you would've expected, some leftover pastries, Sprout didn't have to share a room with anyone else since he was more of the main toons.
Cosmo has been in here before but it still feels nice to be in here, as Sprout led him to his bed, His room smells like strawberries it was a nice scent that Cosmo loved.
Sprout pulled out UNO, Sprout and Cosmo started to get competitive quickly.
- " Hah! Take that!! "
- " Take this!! "
Their friendly bickering becoming more and more competitive while smiling happily.
Sprout spoke happily and competitively. " if I win Cosmo you have to do something that I say!! "
Cosmo just replied competitively. " Bet! I'll win!! " They said happily.
The stakes becoming higher than just ego, the amount of cards in their stack increasing, their eyes becoming more focused and competitive, thinking fast, laughter when the other had to pick up.
And soon enough...
" UNO!! I WIN!! " Sprout announced happily as they placed down the last of their cards. Cosmo just sighed and smiled. " So what do I have to do now, Sprout? " Cosmo asked while rolling his eyes playfully.
Sprout put a hand under his chin as he thinked, and soon enough surprised tackled Cosmo into a hug.
" Ah!- " Cosmo said unexpected of that. He felt Sprout nuzzle into him like a cat but Cosmo wasn't complaining, they slowly fell asleep together happily, Maybe this was the bet.
