Everyone or Every toon was silent, no speaking well besides the stupid flower's giggling, everyone had voted Astro to be the mastermind, Astro was stunned, Everyone was, as it was shown to be false.
I MEAN, Who else would the mastermind Astro was Dandy's best friend that's the only possible reason one of the toons could be the mastermind it didn't make any sense.
Dandy spoke, " Well, I see all of you are in shock! But I'm afraid we will have to continue! Afterall don't you wanna know the true mastermind? "
Every toon's eyes were on Dandy, no one paying attention to anything around them.
As the curtains pulled, a glimpse of a pink striped scarf.
A traitor.
Everyone let out their words of betrayal well almost everyone.
Razzle screamed out, " IT WAS YOU?? " And Dazzle just added, " (Of course it was you...) "
Glisten screamed at sprout, his eyeshadow smudging a little bit due to his eye twitching. " I can't believe I spent this much time on you. "
Astro just said, " Why..? "
Sprout just smiled softly, a hint of condescension in there and spoke calmly. " It was a pleasure, although I'm curious, dear friend how do you feel right now? " Sprout said, looking at Cosmo.
Everyone looked at Cosmo then, looking for his words of betrayal.
Nothing Cosmo could muster up to say, no words could leave the brownie, even with the toon's encouragement to speak. Soon enough Cosmo just fell to his knees, the despair was setting in 10x more then it ever has.
Knowing that your best friend was behind all your suffering, your pain, all their memories with Sprout they wanted to live for were now tainted, they wanted to live for Sprout to make more memories with him.
Dandy just chuckled and spoke in his loud and proud voice. " Well I don't think Cosmo can speak right now, so as a GENTLE reminder it's that you guys voted wrong, Yknow what that means. " Dandy said with his chaotic laugh.
The realization fell upon the toons, they were gonna die, Everyone started to panic, in the middle of the commotion familiar footsteps came upon them.
Sprout, he was walking up to Cosmo, who was currently on his knees not being able to see any hope beyond the immense mental pain he was in.
" Dear friend, I have a offer for you, look at me please Cosmo. " Sprout said gently, tilting Cosmo's Head up towards him, in which Glisten objected that action clearly, swiftly teleporting behind sprout and slapping his strawberry hands off the traumatized brownie's face.
" What the actual fuck is wrong with you- " Glisten was quickly cut off by a fierce kick to the ground by Sprout.
" I wasn't talking to you, Glisten. " Sprout said coldly, still standing right in front of Cosmo, The brownie watching in shock as he saw his best friend kick someone to the ground.
" Ahem, as I was saying. " Sprout said, his voice softening for Cosmo but still having that coldness.
" My offer is for you to become my Assistant, I promise Cosmo you won't regret it, we will have lots of fun together! Just the 2 of us, isn't that what you wanted Cosmo? " Sprout said smiling, his smile looking a little bit insane, Cosmo didn't say anything, the brownie's eyes widened as he saw the smile, apart of him wanted to run another just wanted to give up.
Either way he was screwed, Sprout cleared his throat and spoke. " it's not like your choice matters Cosmo, you will be my assistant, you never had a choice to begin with as soon as this game started. " Sprout said, Cosmo tried to shake his head, But Sprout gently shushed him as the big screen pulled up and showed Cosmo and Sprout.
And throughout the entire killing game Cosmo was just following Sprout, not making a decision for himself once, always taking Sprout's side, maybe he never did have a choice.
The toons just stared at Cosmo, feeling their eyes on him, he felt like a traitor, he doesn't have a choice it was either be killed or stay with Sprout.
And Sprout wouldn't let Cosmo be killed, Sprout just chuckled as he told Cosmo a fun fact. " Yknow Cos, in each every time a death was planned or execution, we would die together in each and other one of them in eachothers arms, isn't that great? "
No comment from Cosmo, it was too much to take in, all the words mushing into his already traumatized mind,
And then everything went black, the last thing Cosmo heard was the toon's screams.
