It's been one week since West and Is date and it really is going great, we've come closer and people on the team are starting to notice, I don't mind it anyway.
Also Thalia, Riley and I are very close now I even invited them to have dinner with my mum and brother and is safe to say my brother gave them the okay even though he says he is a little jelous that I spend a lot of time in the studio.
I told Thalia what was going on with West and she says we would be a cute couple but let's give that some time, I don't wanna rush anything.
I enter studio A ans see West stretching so I join him as he look up at me smiles.
"Hey Lya, wuold you like to go after class for a walk?"
"Yeah, that would be nice"
"Hey guys, I wanna explain the rules for Nationals, so NAtionals are completly different to regionals"Kate says
"It's all group dances?" Chloe asks.
"No, it's not"says Michelle.
"It's way different to regionals guys" I say.
Then Kate explains us that first theres a male solo, then you move on to small groups that is from 5 to 7 people, then theres duets and tgen female solos. After that we do a group dance for semifinals and finals.
"It's an elimination competition so if you lose one you're out, I wanna focus on solos and duets for now"
"I think Michelle and Eldon should do the duet, I mean they are pretty much the reason we won regionals" Chole says.
We all cheer and clap saying we all agree with her.
"Um actually, I don't wanna do the duet" Eldon says.
"What?" we say but he gets out and lets us confused.
I mean I'm sad for Michelle, he has not even gave her a reason, so I go next to her and hug her, she smiles at me being grateful for the gesture.
Then we all make our ways and West and I are on studio B warming up and doing some tricks, he asked me for some advice on some more contemporary moves.
We are having a really good time , because he is not flexible at all, and when he falls to the floor I burst out laughing. He then comes near to me as I can't stop laughing.
"Hey, don't laugh at me, you will regreat it" He says with a serios face. Then I stop because I thought he didn't minf me laughing.
"Ooh I am sorry, I didn't mean to " I cant stop the sentece as he starts to tickle me. I HATE TICKLES." West, West st-op" I try to say.
After some time he stops and I notice we are very close to eachother smiling. Then he leans into me and kisses me.
"I know you want to take things slow, but I really like you and I couldn't contain myself"
"It's okay, I wanted that too" I say and then peck him one more time.
Then we talk about what we want to audition for and he says I should go for the female solo even though we both want to do the duet, I think that for now the solo is the best option.
We are now in studio A.
"Okay guys did you decided what do you want to audition for?" Kate asks us.
"I'd like to audition for the male solo" ELdon says.
As West is going to step forward James tells him not to so he doesn't, and I think is sweet of him to let his friend have it as Eldon is clearly going through a hard time according to what West has told me.
"I want the solo" thats Daniel.
" Great, there'll be some competition" Kate says. "Okay, female solo, who would like to audition? Anyone?" West encourage me to step forward but then Kate look at Michelle repiting the question as she says no.
I then say no to West because I think all of them want Michelle to do the solo so I don't want to step in anyones toes.
"Michelle, can I talk to you in my office"
"Sure"
Then West turns to me.
"Why didn't you say it"
"I don't want to step in Michelles toes"
"What? no, if she wants the solo, she can audition and then we will make a decision, but we have to chose what is best for us, and that could be you"
" Well okay I'll go and tell Kate I want to audition for it."
He smiles at me and I go tell Kate, she says Michelle and Chole also want to audition for it and I go rehearse.
Right now we are watching the duets audition and as I see Riley and James, it's clear they are gonna win, they have so much chemestry.
Right now we are doing the solos audition, I'm the last one and I'm very nervous as I see Michelle dancing. Then West gets near me and holds my hand giving me warm smile, so I calm a bit.
As Eldon finishes I prepare myself for the dance I prepared.
When I finsh all clap
"Guys, I can't belive you get better and better eveytime I watch you, you are blowing us away, anyway Phoebe and I are gonna go make this very very tough decision, we will be back in a few minutes, good job" she finishes and we all clap.
Then Thalia Riley and I start talking to each other.
"All right, first we'll start with the boys, our male soloist is going to be Eldon" Phoebe says and we all clap.
"The female soloist was a very tough choice and this dancer really surprised us so we're going to give the solo to Malya" they all clap for me and I get really happy when Thalia and Riley hug me.
"ANd the duet Riley and James" I knew it Riley gives me a tight hug happily as James is not here.
After some time Thalia goes to speak with Amanda and Daniel and I go hug West.
"Thank you for encouraging me like that, I have the solo thanks to you"
" You deserved it" he returns me the hug.
Then we both go get our bags to go have that walk in the park. We have a good time, we had a few kisses aldo and we grabbed ice cream, then he walk me home, as always I have dinner with my family and read Liam a book to sleep.
