Right now I'm rehearsing my solo, there has been a lot of dram this last days, Emily, Eldon, Michelle and Hunter aren't really helping, also Michelle seems off and I'm afraid that is going to cause us some trouble on Nationals.
We have to be focused if wwe want to win, Riley and James aren't helping either they can't stand being around each other, well Riley can't stand it. I've been trying to help Riley with everything that I can, but I know she really is suffering.
I think she needs some time for herself, some time alone to think about things.
Anyways, despite everything I've been doing good, my relationship with West is going well, he always accompanies to my house and spends some time talking with my brother.
I didn't think they would get along that good but he is very good with kids and I'm glad because if he wasn't there I wouldn't have so much time for doing homework and help my mum. Also, he sometimes has dinner with us.
I met his family two days ago, he has two sisters and we clicked right away, I had a good time with them and they welcomed me with their arms open, and they made it easy for me and I'm glad for that.
As I said I was rehearsing when Michelle comes close to me.
"Your solo is turning out very good, you have a lot of talent"
"Thank you, how are you doing, you know with your situation?" I ask concerned.
"It's good, I mean I really don't know very well what happend but I can't do anything about it"
"You know, you are an amazing dancer and an amazing person, don't let this situation go over you, it's going to be difficult but you will get through it and you can alaways count on me"
"Thank you Lya, you always have the best words, I'm glad to have you as a friend"
"It's nothing, you wanna go grab a juice?"
"Yeah, that would be nice"
We went to gran our juice and there were some of the girls, they were trying to convince Riley to go talk Charlie, so she finally did it and now she had a date at night. After that all of them went and I satayed with Riley.
"Riley, do you reaaly want to go on a date with Charlie?"
"I mean James is with Beth now, so I shoul start to move on, that's what the girls told me"
"It's only the right thing if you want that to happen, no beacause someone told you is the best choice"
"Yeah but I don't want to be waiting for something that won't happen"
"An what is that"
"An apology, that's what I needed, but he wan't able to say it"
"Riley I think both of you need time alone to think, don't rush anything with no one, do what you think is best for you but you need time to focus on yourself"
"I'll think about it Lya"
We spend some more time talking and then I go to continue rehearsing.
I know Riley will go to that date, but I also know that with that she is not going to forget about James. She will realize some day that she has to put herself first and then they will be able to solve their problems.
"Hi baby, how are you doing?" West enters the room
"Hi, good, I'm just rehearsing the solo, it has to be perfect"
"It is perfect, don't put too much preasure on you okay?"
"Yeah, I know"
Then we spent some time him telling me some things for the dance to be perfect.
West is a really good boyfriend, he always tries to help me with everything and helps me with my insecurities, I also try to help him with everything bu.
Although he is friends with James he totally understand why I spend so much time with Rilet and he also tells me how to try and help her.
We now are lying on the floor looking at eachother.
"Thank you West, I don't say it much but you have helped me a lot not even questioning me always giving me support, I don't know what would have I done if it wasn't for you" I say looking into his eyes.
"Lya, you deserve it, you are always there for everyone even though they are not your friends, you have a pure heart and that says a lot abou you as a person"
He finishes and we stare eachother and then finally he gets closer and kisses me. In that moment is just him and I, not the competition, not the drama. Only us. Only him.
