IT was awkwardly quiet inside the living room. Only the sound of ticking clock and footstep that pacing back and forth filling the space. Chan Kian Meng, Chan Jun De's father was standing beside the glass wall, looking at outside as he quietly smoked the tobacco pipe. He was calm compared to his wife, who obviously in huge trouble. The wedding would take place in less in two months, and how she could tell everyone the future daughter-in-law of Chan Family, who was self-picked by her had been caught of cheating by her son?

What was more surprising that they just discovered the existence of youngest daughter of Zhang Family. How did Chan Jun De find out about Zhang Huifen and decide to marry a stranger? There must be reason Zhang Huifen was kept hide by her own family but Mrs.Ling Jiaoxian was not bother to know about it right now.

"I disagree you are marrying that girl. I have better choices for you," switching the future daughter-in-law in less than two months would be the talk of town, but it was better than marrying the sister of the ex-girlfriend. Chan Jun De remained calm despite the objection from his mother.

"There will be no wedding if my future wife is not Zhang Huifen," even though his tone was calm, everyone in this living room knew that Chan Jun De was not playing joke. Mrs.Ling Jiaoxian was speechless when her son gave her an ultimatum.

"Ma, just agree with Jun De Ge. That girl seems a nice girl," the eldest daughter of family, Chan Yifei who was as same age as Zhang Ming Yue, was taking side of her older brother.

"What is she doing for living again? Special Education teacher? Does it mean she teaches low IQ students?" Chan Yuwen, the youngest child of the family interrupted with teasing laugh. She had no intention to look down to people with disabilities. She was only amused by the fact her brother had chose a commoner as his wife.

"If you disagree with my choice, then I will call off the wedding. I might not consider any marriage after this. Then you can wait the grandchildren from these two girls," Chan Jun De glanced at his two sisters and left the living room without waiting the response from his parents.

"Chan Jun De, come back! We are not finish yet! Chan Jun De!" Mrs.Ling Jiaoxian's shouting was completely ignored by her son. She was taken aback by her son's stubbornness to marry Zhang Huifen.

"Honey, we need to do something. I can't let that stranger marry into our family. If Zhang Ming Yue could cheat on our son despite of years together, I expect the sister might do the worst," Mrs.Ling Jiaoxian went to her husband, touching his back while persuading him to talk to Chan Jun De. Chan Kian Meng inhaled deeply the pipe and exhaled it before shifting his gaze to his beautiful wife. They had entered 60s and had lived with their children for a long time. However, sometimes parents failed to understand their children.

"Honey, just relax. Why don't you take this chance to get to know our future daughter-in-law?" Mrs.Ling Jiaoxian did not expect that kind of answer from her husband.

"There must be reason Jun De Ge likes her," Chan Yuwen blurted out, leaving Mrs.Ling Jiaoxian in confuse. What did they talk about? Chan Jun De liked Zhang Huifen?

"Ma, aside from Yang Mi Jie, have you ever seen Jun De Ge persistent about marrying someone?" Chan Yifie hated to bring up the past but she wanted their mother to realize that nothing could change Chan Jun De's decision in marrying Zhang Huifen.

"MING YUE JIE, it's hurt! Please let me go!" Zhang Huifen tried to suppress her sobbing as the tight grip around her wrist was hurting her. Zhang Ming Yue ignored her plea and kept dragging her out from the mansion. She dragged Zhang Huifen to isolate area and abruptly released her until she fell onto the ground. The light from the lamp post was bright enough for Zhang Huifen to see the red mark on her wrist.
