Kazuma had just reported to the guild and received the quest reward

As for where our goofy ass protagonist Y/N was, he was taking a bath in the bath house, so were the girls, because they all stank from the toad slime, Kazuma's luck stat really is that high, to be the weakest, and yet the only one in the party yet to be a vore subject

Kazuma was a little worried that the toad completely disintegrated by Megumin wouldn't be registered as a kill, but the type and number of monsters are conveniently recorded in the adventurer's card, all Kazuma had to do was hand in his, Megumin's and Y/N's card, which was read through a strange machine, and voila! Kills confirmed

The technology of this world was developed prominently through magic requiring little involvement in complex scientific fields, said magic made the technological level pretty advanced

Kazuma then looked at his adventurer card

Kazuma: "Wow... I've hit level 4! So just defeating some monsters is enough to raise your levels entirely huh?"

Counter lady: "Precisely! Although that only applies to lower level adventurers, the more you level up the more will be the EXP requirements per level"

Currently, Kazuma had 3 skill points

He then looked at Y/N's adventurer card

Kazuma: "Interesting... he's hit level 6, would've expected a little more given he defeated double the amount, and 5 skill points? Wouldn't he have only 3 after spending 2 on the slashing cheat?"

It's called a skill up potion and not a level up potion for a reason...

Kazuma: "...I wanna check his abilities..."

There was only one ability that could be unlocked, 5 points required, the technique possessed by the man with the highest potential ever seen in his universe, currently forced to cosplay as a depressed teen

120k, after deducting the transport fee, was the final reward, the actual quest reward was 100k for defeating 5 toads, the total divided amongst the 4 of them came out to be 30k

Kazuma: "Not bad for a salary, but it's neither sustainable, nor safe..."

Why unsustainable? Giant toads are seasonal enemies, they don't come out in winter, why unsafe? Because you can't rely on one man to always save your asses
