Lance really wants to win against Pidge when they play video games together. No matter what means are necessary.
*******
After a day like this one, where the Galra rudely woke them up, forcing them to fight before even having breakfast. Where all of them had to get bandaged up while their lions had to be fixed. Where they then had to attend some boring meetings with the leaders of the planet they spent their entire morning saving. Where the Galra refused to accept their loss once more, which resulted in them striking twice in the same quintant. The paladins stopped them for a second time that day, obviously.
Pidge and Lance's favorite thing to do following those types of events was to play video games until their body succumbed to the sleep they so desperately needed.
"Five wins for me and zero for you, AH! You should just admit defeat at this point loverboy, I'm better than you, it's as simple as that!" The girl tended to get quite competitive when she got really into the game. She didn't intend every single word that came out of her mouth. He knew that and took no insult in them.
Nevertheless, Lance still wanted to make her swallow her remarks back inside.
Desperate for a win against his girlfriend, so he proposed a game. One he was sure to be the champion, even if it meant playing dirty. "Well, I challenge you! Whoever gets the furthest in the levels wins-" He interrupted what she was about to say, knowing she was just going to call him a sore loser. "-but at the same time, the other can do anything to try to distract its opponent. Except turning off the television or console, stealing the controller or blocking the screen. You get the idea?"
Pidge observed him suspiciously. "Why do I feel like you have a hidden intention?" Lance shrugged. "Whatever, I'll beat you like I always do anyway!"

She insisted he goes first, just in case. Her plan mainly consisted of trash talking him and some occasional tickles in places she knew the boy was sensible. He made it to the three-quarter of the fourth floor, when she placed her fingers under his arms pit, making him laugh out loud and dropping the controller on the ground.
"I still don't trust your intention." "Whatever you say paloma."
When her turn came, he sat next to her for the first three levels, ignoring every single one of her questions concerning his lack of disturbing actions. Fighting the smile on his face the more she became annoyed with him.
It wasn't until she reached the floor that killed him that Lance positioned himself behind her, placing his legs on either side of her, circling her waist with his long arms. She tensed for a second, but this little action would not stop her from her objective. He needed to do much more to be able to distract her. Over the course of their relationship, Pidge had grown used to his constant necessity of affection and touch, she was starting to be like him. Clinging onto his sides whenever she was too tired or simply missed him, even if they spent most of their days together.
She was going to win this no matter what.
It's what he did next that almost made her lose focus.
Lance's lips placed a small kiss on her neck, then next to her ear, her cheeks, the corner of her eye, her shoulder... Quiznack, he was actually to begin to succeed in distracting her.
Pidge felt her body grow hot all of a sudden.
Shit.
Shit.
Shit.
Shit.
That flirtatious bastard was officially trying to kill her out of complete embarrassment.
