Location: Returning from the Jeon Estate, Late Evening

The night air was thick with tension as Jungkook and Y/N sped through the darkened streets of Seoul in his sleek black car. The silence between them was heavy, the events of the evening still hanging in the air like a storm cloud. Meeting the Jeon family had been intense, and the unspoken tension between Jungkook and Taehyung had only made it worse. Y/N could still feel Jungkook's possessive grip on her arm as he had led her away from Taehyung, his jealousy palpable.

He's always been protective, but tonight... tonight was different.

Y/N turned to steal a glance at Jungkook, his profile sharp under the dim glow of the dashboard lights. His jaw was clenched, eyes narrowed as they focused on the road ahead. The night was supposed to be over, just a drive back to their safehouse. But fate had other plans.

Without warning, the car behind them accelerated, headlights flashing violently as it closed the distance. Y/N's heart skipped a beat, a familiar surge of adrenaline coursing through her veins. She knew that look on Jungkook's face—it was the look of a predator sensing danger.

"Hold on," Jungkook muttered, his voice tight with tension as he slammed on the gas, the engine roaring in response.

Before Y/N could process what was happening, gunshots rang out, shattering the rear window. Glass exploded around them, and Y/N instinctively ducked, her pulse racing. The rival gang had found them.

"Jungkook!" she shouted, her voice trembling with fear.

"I know!" he snapped, swerving the car to avoid another volley of bullets. His hands gripped the steering wheel with a white-knuckled intensity, his entire body coiled like a spring ready to snap.

The car screeched around a corner, tires skidding on the wet pavement as Jungkook pushed the vehicle to its limits. Y/N could feel the tension radiating off him, a mix of anger and cold calculation. He wasn't just driving to escape—he was driving to survive, and to keep her safe.

He's not going to let anything happen to me. Not tonight. Not ever.

Jungkook glanced at her, his eyes dark with concern. "Are you hit?"

"No," Y/N managed to reply, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm okay."

"Good," he growled, returning his focus to the road. "Stay down."

The car behind them continued its pursuit, the attackers relentless in their attempts to force them off the road. But Jungkook was relentless too, his driving precise and aggressive as he weaved through the narrow streets. He wasn't just a mafia enforcer—he was a survivor, honed by years of living on the edge.

Another car suddenly appeared from a side street, cutting them off. Y/N's breath caught in her throat as Jungkook barely avoided a collision, swerving at the last second to avoid the trap. The rival gang was closing in, trying to box them in.

They're going to kill us if we don't do something. We're running out of time.

Jungkook's eyes darted to the rearview mirror, his mind racing. "There's a bridge up ahead. We lose them there, or we don't lose them at all."

Y/N didn't need to ask what he meant. The bridge was their only shot—a narrow passage with nowhere to hide. If they could make it across, they might have a chance to escape.

But as they approached the bridge, another volley of gunfire erupted, this time from the front. The gang had anticipated their move, blocking both ends of the bridge. They were trapped.

"Shit," Jungkook cursed under his breath, his mind working overtime to find a way out. "Get ready."

"For what?" Y/N asked, her voice laced with panic.
