It has been a few weeks since Bennett left with his pack mates to go home. I gave him my number but the only message I have received was very confusing. His text said that he was home and would be thinking over keeping me as a mate. He seemed so willing to take me as I am but now he said he had to think about us.

I tried to put Bennett out of my mind while I trained with Timothy to hone my powers a bit more. I did some training with the pack m no that I am over 16, almost 17 now, but Timothy was helping me personally as he has kind of filled an uncle role in my life. My parents were busy making themselves useful for the pack and Astra was trying to accept Isaac as her mate.

One day we were near the forest edge with one of the warriors having him fight Timothy and I would use my powers to heal Timothy or make his injuries worse. We stopped when we heard a whine just past the border through the woods.

Timothy and Zack, the warrior, started to rush to the noise. Zack howled to alert the other warriors on guard duty near us. We could smell at least five wolves coming our way, one an Alpha. We prepared for an attack but the 7 wolves in human forms in front of us did not look like them would be fighting any time soon.

I gasped when I saw Bennett walking in the middle completely naked with bruises everywhere carrying what looked like a small child in his arms. His friend, Lucas I think, was bleeding from a gash on his head and was fawning over the child Bennett was holding. The other 5 wolves in human form looked malnourished and had various marks all over their bodies.

The three of us ran forward and when the other guards arrived they also reached out to help. Second Beta Michael and Alpha Jeremiah showed up shortly after the 8 wolves were just on our side of the border. They looked angry until their eyes landed on the whimpering Omegas being looked at by our guards.

Alpha Jeremiah snapped his head to Bennett, who was trying to calm Lucas down. "Why are you here? You are a Super Alpha but I have never seen you before. Explain!" He said the last word while pushing his Alpha aura out.

Bennett stood and bowed his head slightly to show submission to Jeremiah. "We apologize for coming to you but my mate is in this pack so I was hoping you might take us in and shield us. Our current pack is not what I always thought and there are many more to save. This is all I could get out. The last few weeks has really opened my eyes to why I was so sheltered and never allowed to show I was a Super Alpha. We need your help and so do so many others." He turned to me with tears in his eyes.

"No one has made it known to me that they have a mate outside of our pack. How do I know you aren't just trying to cross our borders by claiming this?"

I cleared my throat and turned away from Bennett. "Alpha Jeremiah, I am Bennett's mate."

He looked at me with a blank expression. "You are an Omega and too young to feel the mate bond. How can you be so sure that he is not lying to you just so he can have a Super Omega as his own?"

This was a fair question but given what I have seen and felt from Bennett I believe I am his mate. "I will tell you everything but first can we get them to the pack hospital? I only had enough energy to heal all their bad wounds but this small one needs help immediately."

He sighed and signalled for us all to follow then I heard him order more guards to this border over the pack link.

When we got to the pack hospital Beta Dominic was there glaring at the wolves following us. One of the Omegas looked at him with shock on his face. Second Beta Michael looked back and forth between the two but kept his mouth shut. Those two were like oil and water ever since our Beta was broken of the spell. I could see some jealousy in Second Beta Michael's eyes as he turned from his mate. I am guessing he assumed the two knew each other from a relationship as Beta Dominic still has made no moves to make their bond work.

Our Alpha was speaking with Bennett while Bennett cuddled the child Omega in his arms. Lucas was getting his head looked at so was not here. I walked over feeling very possessive of my mate who was lovingly holding another.

"...Augustus had these 6 Omegas confined to his house with chains. He had told Lucas he was his mate to help him torture these poor things." He looked down with what could only be described as love in his eyes to the Omega in his arms. "He chained me up with them hoping to break me so he could dominate me. Lucas figured out he was not his mate, as Alex here is, not long after Augustus started breaking him. They were trying to bring me into their weird relationship when I discovered Ezra and Lucas felt guilty. Long story short he was trying to free me so I could save them all. The horrors we went through I can't even speak of. This poor guy has been tortured by Augustus for 15 years, since he was 5, and was his first victim."

I let it sink in that this was not a child in Bennett's arms but an adult Omega that had been so mistreated that he looked no older then 10. I wonder if that is why Bennett was so protective of him.

"We had to escape as Alex has fallen pregnant. I got out and went to our Alpha and he laughed. He told me that many of them have multiple Omegas in their homes. He said the real reason they sheltered me was so I could not fight him for power. They only kept me around because Augustus expressed interest in me and I had only ever been decile to them. He sent me back to Augustus and I paid for it dearly. It took me another week to break out again and the guards attacked us as we ran."

"Who is the father of Alex's baby?" I asked tentatively. I mused over the fact that male Omegas are more likely to have the ability to carry children then regular ranked male wolves. Males having uteruses is not as common as it may seem but it is more common in us.

He looked at me with soulless eyes. "I'm not really sure. Augustus made Lucas and I have sex with all of the omegas a few times or else he would be far harsher on them. With how attached I am to him I fear it is mine. Lucas is upset that his mate's first child may be mine and I am upset for betraying you."

I scoffed at him. "You were forced and did what you had to do. We will deal with it when the time comes. Welcome to our pack, my mate."
