-----Jeremy POV-------

It was the big day, the day of my wedding, our wedding. I straightened my bowtie in the mirror one last time, checking to make sure my makeup looked good. As much as i hated to admit it i was terrified. It wasn't a huge wedding but i was still a bit afraid of us being judged. Our relationship was anything but traditional, but i loved Wheatley more than anything. I wanted to stay with him until the stars collapsed. Deep down we both knew that i would die first, him not being human and all. But if anything it made us want to make this decision even more. I wanted to spend every year of my life, no matter how few, with him. I took a deep breath trying to ease the tremors in my hands before i stepped out, walking to the altar. I looked at the priest and then at the congregation spotting a lot of my friends and teammates. My ma waved at me a proud smile on her face, as well as my dad, Ludwig (not a couple). I felt a little less nervous seeing all my friends whispering and giving me thumbs up and nods of approval. I tapped my foot anxiously, waiting for my husband to come out. After what felt like an eternity, he finally walked out of the door, or rather, was carried out of the door by my good friend Chell. She smiled, trying not to giggle as she took him up to the altar. He wore a beautiful silk dress and veil, refracting the soft blue glow of his optical. His dress was masterfully crafted, small geometric paterns embroidered on the hymns, although it was not much bigger than the dress for a build-a-bear doll. I closed my gawking mouth, my face growing hot from the sight of him. To me he was the most beautiful personality core on the planet. I held back tears as he stopped at the alter, looking at me endearingly. He raised his bottom lense, smiling at me nervously. He hummed a little louder than usual, only i seemed to notice the difference. I so badly just wanted to hug him, and tell him there was no reason to be anxious but i had to compromise for a sympathetic nod and a smile.

The priest cleared his throat, anyone who had been whispering in the crowd was now dead silent. "Do you, Jeremy Jones take you, Wheatley, for your lawful husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part? And swear to love and honor him all the days of your life?" I took a sharp breath inward, the air cold, and rigid in my lungs.

"I do," i said, feeling a weight off of my chest. Everything seemed to be going in slow motion as i uttered those two small words. Words that under any other context would be meaningless, but today held so much power over me. Wheatley opened his optic covers wide, not breaking eye contact with me for one second. We were rudely interrupt by our flustered trance when the priest continued the ceremony.

"And do you, Wheatley, take you, Jeremy Jones, for your lawful husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part? And swear to love and honor him all the days of your life?" He said, repeating the vows.

"-yes, i do, i do," Wheatley gasped, barely able to compose himself. "I do," he restated, more calmly this time. The priest nodded, satisfied with our performance. Pyro bore the rings, bringing them up just like we had practiced. They shuffled their feet with excitement, but managed to keep most of their muffled giggles suppressed. I took the first ring and clipped it oh so gently onto Wheatley's top handlebar.

"Wheatley, with this ring, i promise to always love you, cherish you, honor you and comfort you," I spoke in a serious tone, but you could tell by my face i truly meant every word.

"I love you," Wheatley whispered oh so quietly so that the congregation wouldn't hear. "Jeremy... with this ring I promise to always love you, cherish you, c- honor you and.. comfort you," he said, fumbling. He squeaked quietly, hoping nobody noticed. I put the said ring on my own hand, considering he couldn't.

"You may kiss the groom!" The priest announced. I instantly snatched my husband from chells hands, flipping up his veil and covering his faceplate in kisses. He giggled and warmed at my touch, the tension leaving him. Everyone cheered and whistled at our cute display of affection. We walked back down the isle getting congratulations from all of our friends and acquaintances. We all went back to the foyer where there were drinks and cake for everyone. People chatted amongst themselves happily, often coming up to us to talk. I spotted Ludwig approaching us warmly with a small wave, a generous drink already in his hand.

"I just vanted to say how proud i am of you, Jeremy. I'm just- zo glad zhat I've been able to be a part of jour life. I love you zo much, you're better zhan any son i kould have asked for" he doted. "Oh, und Vheatley, you better take care of this him. You're a good m- robot,"the German chirped, patting his new son in law before hugging both of us tighty.

"Thanks dad-" I choked out, getting gagged by his overly affectionate bear hug. Every time he hugged me it was as if he hadn't seen me in years. He let us go, careful not to actually strangle me.

"Jou two have fun! ich liebe dich!" he waved before heading off to drink all of our wine like an idiot and get his husband upset again. Me and Wheatley laughed in unison watching him go.

"Hey luv, you wanna go get anything for yourself?" Wheatley asked, reminding me that i should eat. I had gotten so distracted greeting guests i almost forgot this was our wedding and we needed to enjoy it.

"THIS is why i love you honey." I exaggerated, hugging him to my chest. I kissed him, before heading off to eat. We sat at our own table, talking for hours about nothing. It was perfect. Wheatley kept asking me how different deserts tasted, and made me try a bit of almost every fancy dessert there before i lovingly told him to 'shut the fuck up before i get a heart attack' we laughed and talked, dancing a bit in the small clearing everyone was using as a dance floor. Eventually the party died down and we were all exhausted, drunk, or both. It was a night we would both remember, probably for the rest of our lives.

The rest of our lives together.
