Russia's POV>>>

I woke up on the floor, surrounded by empty bottles of vodka. I sat up slowly and rubbed my eyes. I groaned as my head pounded. I got up slowly and walked to the bathroom to take some medicine. After that, I went back to the kitchen and picked up the empty bottles, quickly throwing them away. I decided to take a shower and clean up a bit before Canada would be back. I wasn't sure if he had a way here or if he needed me to come get him. I quickly showered and fixed my hair before putting on my coat and scarf. I walked over to the window and sighed. The phone suddenly began to ring. I quickly walked over and picked it up. "Privyet?" I asked softly, hoping Canada would answer. "Bonjour." He said softly. "Matvey!" I squeaked. "Where are you?" I asked softly. "I'm at the airport. Can you come pick me up?" He asked quietly. I nodded quickly. "Da, I'll be there in a few minutes." I said quickly. "Thank you. I'll see you." He said softly. "Bye." I said softly and hung up the phone, quickly grabbing my keys and going out to my car. I quickly drove to the airport. Once I arrived, I quickly parked and locked the car before jogging up to the doors of the airport. I soon spotted him sitting on a bench, looking down at the ground. I noticed the bandages on his arm and hand. I felt my heart shatter at the sight. I quickly rushed over to him and carefully wrapped my arms around him. "Mavtey...w-what happened?" I asked shakily as tears began to well up in my eyes. He slowly wrapped his arms around me and rested his head against my shoulder. "I missed you, Ivan." He said quietly and closed his eyes. I felt a tear slowly roll down my cheek as I held him close to me. "M-Matvey, it's alright. I won't let anyone hurt you again. I'll never leave your side again." I said shakily and ran a hand through his hair. "C-can we go home?" He asked shakily and sniffled a bit. I nodded and slowly pulled away from the hug to help him carry his stuff while he carried Kuma. I led him out to the car and put his stuff in the trunk before opening the passenger door for him. He slowly got in and put Kuma in his lap. I closed his door and walked to the other side, getting in and buckling my seatbelt. I sniffled a bit and rubbed my eyes. "W-what happened?" I asked shakily as I began to drive home. "My boss got angry. He doesn't want me to move in with you. He said that I needed punished.." He whispered shakily and looked out the window. "When I made it to the airport, I was still bleeding pretty badly and Beatrice helped me out." He said softly. I raised an eyebrow and looked over at him as we stopped at a stop light. "Beatrice?" I asked softly. "She's a retired nurse who travels the world, helping people who are in need of help. She's from Canada as well and her wife passed away a few years ago.. She's a lovely old woman." He said softly. "She put bandages on me and stopped the bleeding...and for that, I am grateful." He whispered and closed his eyes. I nodded and looked forward again. "I'm just glad you're okay." I said softly. "I was so worried." I choked. "I'm sorry." He said softly in reply and looked down as tears rolled down his cheeks. I felt my heart snap at the sight, causing tears to roll down my cheeks. "I love you, Matvey." I said softly. "I love you too, Ivan." He said shakily as he cried softly.
