Canada's POV>>>
Once we arrived at the house, he got out and came around to my side before opening the door and carefully picking me up. "You're safe now. I won't let anything bad happen to you anymore." He whispered softly and carried me bridal style as I held onto Kuma. "Thank you." I said shakily and closed my eyes. "I'll protect you from now on." He said softly. "I can protect you too" I said quietly. He shook his head and chuckled a bit. "I don't need to be protected. I just want you to be safe." He said softly and looked down at me as he carried me inside. The Baltic nations came rushing over to the door, trembling. "Welcome home Mister Russia." They said in unison. "Lithuania, can you go get Matvey's stuff out of the car and bring it up to our room?" He asked softly with a small smile. Lithuania nodded and quickly went out to the car to retrieve my stuff. Russia slowly carried my upstairs to our room and carefully put me on the bed. "Is there anything you need, sunflower?" He asked softly. "No, I'm fine." I whispered and looked over at him. He was sitting in a chair by the bed, carefully brushing some hair out of my face. "Matvey, I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise to keep you safe." He said shakily as tears began to form in his eyes. I slowly placed my hand on his cheek and looked into his eyes. "Thank you, Ivan." I said softly and leaned up to kiss his cheek. "I love you so much." He said shakily and pulled me into a hug. I rested my head against his chest and closed my eyes. "I love you too." I whispered softly and wrapped my arms around him. He kissed the top of my head and held me close to him. I smiled and slowly opened my eyes as I felt Kuma rubbing his head against my arm. "Bonjour, Kumajiro." I said softly and patted his head. "M-Mister Russia, someone is here to see you." I heard Lithuania's voice call from the doorway as he put my stuff down. "Tell them I'm busy." He mumbled and nuzzled his head against my neck. "B-But...they want to speak to you immediately." Lithuania said shakily and clasped his hands together. "What for?" He whined, tightening his grip around me. "They want to speak to you about C-Canada." Russia jerked his head up and glared at Lithuania. "I'll be down in a minute." He grumbled before kissing the top of my head. "I'll be back as soon as possible, Matvey." He whispered softly. I nodded and loosened my grip around him. He slowly got up and smiled at me before leaving the room and going downstairs with Lithuania. I sighed and grabbed a blanket, wrapping up in it. I curled into a ball and stayed hidden under the blanket. "Guess who." I heard a voice call from the doorframe. I stayed silent and closed my eyes tightly. "Go away." I mumbled. "No can do." I felt a hand on my shoulder. I quickly shrugged it away. "No need to worry, princess, it's just time to go home." He chuckled. "I'm staying here." I grumbled. "Your boss sent me to come and get you while Russia is distracted." He laughed. I squeaked as I felt myself being picked up. I squirmed a bit, but ended up getting trapped in the blanket. I whined and felt the grip tighten around me. "Ivan!" I squeaked. "Shhh, princess." He whispered and covered my mouth. I heard footsteps running upstairs and felt tears roll down my cheeks. "What's going on-" I heard Estonia's voice. "Put him down!" He yelled angrily. I was suddenly dropped and hit the ground, my head slamming against the floor. I heard more footsteps running upstairs before I slowly blacked out, hearing the muffled yelling of the people around me.
