kaysen felt himself getting more and more depressed.

he was happy with mo'nyjah but she couldn't take away what he was feeling.

he didn't want to live anymore but he's holding on because he knew if he did what he wanted to do it'll hurt mo'nyjah a lot.

he didn't understand what it was like to feel loved but she showed him a lot in 2 months.

he held on for 2 months, he felt proud of himself because if he never would have met mo'nyjah that night he would have killed himself.

just for mo'nyjah he held on but he was tired of feeling the same pain over and over again.

he looked to the side to see her sleep with her mouth wide open.

he smiled and kissed her face, he got up from the bed and went on his phone to doordash them some breakfast.

"pretty get up." he said grabbing her face and kissing her lips.

she moved around and opened her eyes, she smiled when she seen kaysen infront of her.

"hey stank." she mumbled and got out the bed.

"breath stank." kaysen said as he covered his nose.

mo'nyjah laughed and flipped him off, she walked towards the bathroom with him behind her.

"leave me alone desean, you the one that wanted to be in my face knowing it stank." nyjah mugged him and grabbed her face rag.

she grabbed her face soap and put some on her hand, she started to rub it all on her face.

once she got it around good, she washed it off and wiped her wet face with the rag.

she grabbed her tooth brush and started to brush her teeth.

"damn, why you brushing so hard?" kaysen asked with a scrunched up face.

mo'nyjah choked on the toothpaste as she started laughing.

"get out kaysen." she said while smiling, he shooked his head.

"yo teeth gone start bleeding stank." he said and grabbed her toothbrush.

he started to brush her teeth and her tongue.

she rinsed her mouth out and posed in the mirror.

the door bell rang making mo'nyjah look at kaysen with a confused look.

"food here." kaysen said as he dropped his phone on the floor.

"kaysen why you always do that?" nyjah laughed and picked it up from the floor.

"i needed to put it down." he said shrugging and grabbed the food.

he walked into the kitchen with mo'nyjah behind him.

"you gone break it boy." she said and sat it on the counter.

"fuck that phone." he said making nyjah mouth drop.

he laughed and passed her the food, they ate and talked for a while.

what mo'nyjah didn't know was this would be her last day seeing kaysen forever.

"aye mo." kaysen looked up from his food and looked at her.

"hmm? " she sipped from her straw.

"i love you pretty." he said causing her to tear up a little bit.

"really?" she questioned with a small smile.

he nodded his head and grabbed her face, he kissed her deeply.

"i love you too kaysen, forever & always." she said as she hugged him.

"forever and always." kaysen mumbled as he hugged her tight.

he knew it would be the last time.
