THIRD PERSON POV

"And that's the last one.", (Y/n) smiled at the items in the bag. She finally finished buying souvenirs for everyone. Well, everyone except for her two troublemakers, of course. With the multitude of gifts, she's given them over the years, the variety of remaining gift options has begun to dwindle, making it challenging to decide on the kind of present that best suits certain occasions. Like right now, for instance. She had searched half the shop, yet nothing caught her eye as an acceptable present for her best friends.

"(N/n).", A cool voice called out her name. Turning around, she saw Svin, his boyish smile enhancing his handsome features. Her dear friend offered to carry her bags, an offer to which she readily agreed.

"Should we go back to Sir Albrecht?" asked the curly-haired blonde, turning to his raven-haired friend. The magician considered for a moment before shaking her head.

"Not yet. I want to look around a bit if it's fine with you.", (Y/n) earnestly said. The blond nodded and offered to keep her company but was turned down by her with the excuse, "If there's anyone you need to keep an eye on its Flat."

"But (Y/n) I-"

"I won't stray out of your sight. Promise. I just want to browse the shop a bit more.", (Y/n) pleaded with puppy dog eyes. As expected Svin relented to her whim and slowly walked away from her, glancing at her from time to time. The young girl couldn't help but laugh as she watched Flat after jumping behind Svin, haul the curly-haired mage to a shop corner by his arm. It was quite the spectacle-Svin flailing about, threatening to claw at Flat, who merely shrugged off the threats with a grin. Unperturbed, the Escardos heir firmly gripped the back of the Glascheit mage's collar as the curly blond made a futile attempt to escape his grasp.

The young magician, feeling somewhat joyful after witnessing her friends' amusing exchange, resumed her search for gifts for her two beloved fools. She surveyed the shop's array of merchandise, from brooches to comfortable clothing, yet nothing piqued her interest. She sighed, remembering that she had previously gifted them similar items, many of which were mystic codes she had crafted herself for their protection.

Frustrated by the lack of results, she was on the verge of giving up and consulting her brother for ideas when a glint caught her attention. On a display table not far from where she was standing, there were paperweights shaped like animals. It had a wide array of animals to choose from, avian like peacock and doves to marine life like octopus and dolphins. Each one was charming, and she wanted to take many back home, but she could already anticipate the scolding she would receive from Izzie if she decided to do so.

Letting out a quiet huff, the magician continued on her quest to find the perfect gift for her friends. The young girl's eyes fell on to the glass dog, otter, cat and bunny. A smile quivered on her face as she suppresses a laugh. All of those animals showed a bit of their color; Svin's soft blue with specks of yellows, Flat's cheerful yellow with bits of purple mixed in, Taiki's fiery crimson red and her luminescent hue. Too bad she didn't find a snake and spider. She could've given Izzie and Yuu paperweights to complete the set.

Grinning from ear to ear, (Y/n) can already see the elated smiles the pair would have once they received her gift. The magician swiftly bought the figurines and with a paper bag in hand, she skipped to Svin and Flat to tell them they can go back to her big brother-

Or at least she was supposed to.

Someone had the courage to grab her from behind and pointed something cold to her temple. By its shape, the magician surmises it to be a gun.

Her sweet little white beast and green haired friend growled at the assailant but backed down when she told them off. There's no need for any blood to stain the ground today, thank you very much!
