Is This Real Part 4

Misty was up before her alarm clock went off, she couldn't sleep a wink last night , and she wasn't feeling any better then when she came home the previous night. She showered and ate some breakfast before getting her work clothes on and the whole time Milo was following her around rubbing against her. She petted him before feeding him and she headed out the door and towards her car, but she stopped and looked at the sky. It was looking a little gloomy which reflected her mood perfectly. She got into her car and made her way to work in plenty of time to prepare herself for the day.

Though she felt like a zombie as she walked in and her co-workers were saying 'good morning' over and over. She just nodded and clocked in and went to her department to start her shift. "Hey Misty, it's good to see.." Daniel, her work best friend came up to her but he could see something was wrong. "What's wrong Misty?" She shook her head and just started crying and he hugged her and tried to calm her down.."Come on let's go in the back." She nodded and they walked to the breakroom and sat down, "Now tell me what happened." She opened her mouth and then closed it, then opened it again and closed it again. "It's complicated." Was all she said, but Daniel was patient. She finally said "I think I just had a break-up." Daniel understood and hugged her again "Thanks Daniel you're a good friend." She was calm enough to go back to work after that and her shift went by so slowly.

As she was clocking out Daniel asked her "Are you feeling any better?" She shrugged "I don't know but I know I will be in time." He hugged her "Just take care of yourself and I'll see you soon." She smiled at him and headed home. She checked her phone instinctively and nothing from either one of them, not that she expected it but she was hoping for something. She sighed and crawled back into bed once she was home and cried herself to sleep again, while Milo climbed up and snuggled her to make her feel better.

"Knock, Knock" on Misty's door and she was not in the mood to entertain anyone but she got to the door. Without bothering to look in the peephole she opened the door and was shocked to see Munk standing there. "Munk, what are you doing here?" She walked backwards as he entered her apartment and grabbed her and kissed her hard and she kissed him back hard. "I've missed you my sweet elf girl." Misty cried and responded back "I've missed you too Munk..can we..." but she didn't get to finish as Milo meowed loudly in her face waking her up. She smiled and rubbed his head and rolled over to go back to sleep.

Over the next few weeks Misty's work had started to diminish and they were on the verge of firing her but she made sure to work harder. She was able to bring it back up and she was able to keep her job. At night though she kept having the same dream, Munk or DZ came to her door knocking and kissing her saying they missed her. Other nights it was nightmares with them, fighting over her and then kicking her out for playing them both.

She kept seeing things that reminded her of them everywhere she went and that wasn't making her feel any better.

A month went by after that and Misty was finally feeling better and she didn't notice things that reminded her of them anymore which made her feel a little better. But it was like a void was still there where DZ and Munk were but now it's empty. Though work was going much better and she started hanging out with Daniel and some other work people more. But those days she was alone she'd go out with a hood up in case she ran into one of them.

She'd come home every night and snuggle with Milo until she fell asleep except this night she knew Munk would be streaming and she wanted to check in on him to see how he was doing. She made a fake account because he knew her other one and she tried hard to come up with a name that didn't come right out and say "Hey it's me Misty!" She decided on shorty101 as the screen name and she went into his chat. What she saw made her sad, he looked awful, he had bags under his eyes like he wasn't sleeping. People in his chat kept asking where she was, that they liked us together and thought we were dating. Over and over people kept asking where she was and Munk was getting angrier and he finally said. "Misty is gone, she's not in my life right now and I don't want any of you to ask again or send her any messages." Misty bit her lip but someone came in that didn't hear it and asked where she was, Munk got mad and turned off the stream after that. People in his chat were saying mean things about Misty and she bit her lip harder and wanted to say something but didn't. She turned her computer off after that and just sat on her bed and pet Milo.
