1. I did NOT come up with the story behind Mariolore. The honor behind the creation of such an engaging story belongs to the lovely TikTok creators: dinograveyard and lovebunnycosplay (If I got their handles wrong, please let me know in the comments).
2. This fanfic is an AU of Mariolore, so what I write in this story won't exactly align with the story in Mariolore.
3. If any disturbing/or gory parts of the story come along, I will be sure to include trigger warnings.
4. I am open to any and all forms of constructive criticism, so should anything come up, please let me know.
5. My updating schedule might be a bit slow (since my first year at college will start soon), but I will do my best not to leave you guys hanging!
Note: I took inspiration from the Mariolore storyline and the MarioKart Wii Anti-Piracy Screen with the Peach glitch. I will also leave subtle easter eggs of other things that inspired me within the story. With all that said and done, I hope you enjoy!
