Reunion

Reva's POV

The day started as usual for me. I got up around 6:00 am in the morning after getting ready I prepared breakfast for Aarya and I. Went to her room and got her ready for her school after dropping her to the school I went to my hospital where I work I'm an surgeon. Today was busy as I had two surgeries thanks to god that both were successful. Around 4:00 pm I came out of the operation theatre and after sanitizing myself changed into my normal clothes suddenly I passed out. Luckily Michael my fellow surgeon was there he held me and took me to the resting area after few minutes I got up. Michael told me what had happened he thought that maybe it happened I was working a lot and had weakness. But I thought for a minute the symptoms I've been observing for months now. I told Michael all of them and he suggested me to go for a blood test without waiting any further I went for the blood test the reports will be given to me tomorrow. I left my hospital and picked up Aarya from Emily's house.

"You look depressed honey" Emily asked while handing me Aarya's bag

"Ohh nothing I had a really busy day today" I told her as I didn't know what exactly was wrong with me and didn't wanted her to worry for no good reason. Emily has been a pillar of support for me it's safe to say that she has been a family for me in London.

"Where is Sam ( her son) " I asked as I was helping Aarya to wear her shoes

"Ohh these two were playing board games must be in his room" She said after a little chit chat session I took my baby daughter home. After reaching home I started preparing our dinner. We sat on the dinning table I had prepared Daal, Rice and vegetable salad.

"Mumma you look sad" Aarya asked looking at me with those puppy eyes my heart melted I took her in my lap.

"Baby mumma had a lot of work today so she is sleepy" I said pulling her cheeks

"Mumma after will go to sleep you don't have tell me story tonight" She said

"You are such a good girl" I said

After dinner we both slept. But I was unable to sleep as the only thought which was in my mind scared me like  hell. I tried to cool down myself and slept. The next morning I woke up as usual and dropped Reva to her school. As soon as I reached my hospital I went to collect my blood report and saw Michael was there. I was really scared not just for myself but for my child. Michael comforted me and collected my blood report. I didn't had the courage to check my blood report so he did. I looked at him as he read the blood report and told me "You have to be strong Reva" he said 

"Just tell me Michael" I asked

"You have Blood cancer stage four" He said and patted my shoulder. I went numb how could this be this can't be true and what will happen to Aarya she is so small she need her mother she needs me. Tears started falling down my cheeks Michael hugged me "Stop crying nothing is going to happen to you" he said 

"I'm a doctor myself Michael I know what stage four means" I said as I wiped my tears away. I left the hospital with blood reports and went to Emily's house. After ringing her door bell she opened the door and was surprised to see me there.

"Reva you here at this time" she asked but I was emotionally devasted. I just hugged her and started crying.

"Oh god tell me what happened don't scare me like this please" She said 

We both sat on the couch and I gave her the Blood test reports she was shattered " This can't be true Reva you should go to another doctor this is incorrect" she tried to argue.

"Emily these reports are from my hospital" I said wiping my tears away.

"Reva what are you going to do" she asked holding my hand
