Unwelcome visitors

Mari sits on a high rock wall watching Draco fly through the air on a broomstick. He flies down and says wand to try? Mari shakes her head unsure of how it would feel without a TARDIS.

She turns her face to the sun and she lets out her long hair from her tie. She takes off her scarf and wipes her face.

Does it usually get this hot? Draco grins and he says we could go for a swim in the lake. Mari grins and she stands up on the wall and begins to run turning doing a cartwheel until she reaches the end. She takes off her dress revealing her bathing suit but before she dives in a portal opens and Mari's clothing changes into something Draco doesn't recognize and he watches as Mari seems to draw herself up still standing on the wall.

People come out of the orange portal wearing armor and carrying what look like guns.

Draco get behind me. Mari says.

Don't move! The leader says Marigold Smith of Gallifrey you have broken intergalactic law by-

I'm going to stop you right there.  Mari says. She hops down and she says first off you have no right to order Draco around. Two I am not a variant or whatever you will accuse me of. Three this is a level five planet and you are interfering. If you ordered you will be breaking intergalactic law based off of the shadow declaration number 43 which states the TVA is not to interfere with the Doctor or his daughter.

CEASE HER! The leader says Mari ducks and she whirls her hands pushing them all back.

Draco run! Mari says as Draco stares at the situation.

Mari! Run Draco. Mari says turning to him before lifting herself up into the air and landing on a balcony. She pulls herself up and Draco begins to run but they manage to grab hold of him.

I'll prune him! She says holding the tool to his neck. Mari jumps down and she
Says  you wouldn't do that. Don't you know who he is? Of course I know who he is. The woman says.

Surrender and he will not be pruned she says.

What's pruning? Draco says still struggling.

It's deletion removing you completely like you didn't exist ...Mari whispers.

But that's  ....thats impossible! Draco says.

Sadly it's not. The time war was more about the Dalecks and the cyber men. It was the TVA thinking they know better than the time lords. This is the result pruning the time line to look a certain way. Stealing children humans from their life simply because...they believe they have some authority over everyone.

The woman smirks. You're a special case. Unfortunately pruning doesn't work on you galifrens we're  always the trickiest bunch. She points her laser weapon at Draco.

Surrender daughter of Galifrey on your knees!

Mari shifts her foot and she points the screwdriver at Draco and Mari leaps across knocking him down but getting hit in the back a moment after they land. Mari pushes Draco away pushing a compact and a locket in his hand whispering for him to run. She puts her hands up in surrender and they grab her arms wrenching them behind her back with a pair of jade chains. They drag her to her feet and Mari tries to turn  to get one last look before she's pulled into the orange portal door.
