The doll and the spinner

A cage sits in the middle of a grand ball room...the bottom is taken up by the man with the spinning wheel.. rumple...Rumplestilskin ...is his name. Mari's uncle told her about him...they're friends ...

He spins like his life depends on it. Mari turns over in her loft. Her screwdriver was taken but that doesn't stop her from trying to escape....her hands curl around the bars of the cage and she screams in frustration once more.

Below her the spinner doesn't respond ...he never does..why would he? there is already too much going on in his mind...Mari turns over onto her stomach. Her eyes widen when the man begins to change and suddenly there's a completely different person sitting in the cage..

That's not good.

Mari looks out the window Zelana is due any moment ...

Uh hello? The man below Mari says. Mari studies him for a moment before she says hi

Uh what are you doing up there?

I was trapped here silly Mari says before she crouches and he says

What are you doing now?

Turn your  face away so she doesn't see -

What?

Hurry! You're Bae aren't you?

Yes but -

Just do it!

He sighs and turns away finally
Zelena and Hama renter the room and the top of the cage is opened and Mari is lifted out of the cage and dropped in a heap before both of them.

Mari gets to her feet and Zelena goes over to her touching the dagger to her neck. But this dagger is different it's made from a jade blade and it burns Mari's skin when it touches it. She grabs Mari's wrist and without a word she pulls her along until they reach the dungeons....

Mari is pushed into a chair and her wrists are cuffed in front of her ...

Who are you?

Zelena finally asks. Mari stays silent keeping her head down. Hama forces Mari to look up.

Tell me your NAME!

Don't you know names have power?

Mari asks her voice soft and slightly unhinged ...

Zelena stands up and she says your name

Mari.

Mari finally says.

Good...Zelena comes over and uses the knife to give Mari a cut on her cheek ...it runs from her eye to her chin...

Now...tell me how did you get into the enchanted forest?

Mari stays silent.

Mari doesn't answer. She's raised into the air and stretched all around until she's laying in a bloody heap on the floor.

Zelena finally stands and kneels down to Mari.

I won't stop until I have answers ...now be a good doll and get back to your cage ...

Mari stands mechanically and she walks with Hama behind her towards the ball room with the cage. She climbs the ladder and goes to her loft ...still wearing the cuffs which are burning the skin from her wrists.

The man below has returned his mind seems clearer then before.
