When we have the office to ourselves, my queen chuckles. "You did good...he didn't notice you crushing."

"I hope so." I pull her back into my lap. "Because the photo shoot will be harder."

"How hard?" Her oceanic eyes size up my bulge.

"What am I going to do with you?" I sigh.

"I can think of a few things."

"That'll have to wait until tonight, we need to go." I stand with her in my arms, carrying her as if it's our wedding night again. I should've expected paparazzi waiting outside. They've learned that we're back somehow.

Alonso and his guys create a blockade, limiting the press to one side. I'm sure this is done to keep the red carpet intact. Velma is involved. We're back to being in her grasps. Her team of photographers blend in with the mob.

She's proud that I'm showcasing a PDA with my wife. This will be posted everywhere. The media mob hold phones and digital cameras high enough to get full shots of me and my honey. The demanding yells begin.

"WELCOME BACK NEWLY WEDS!!"

"Where was the honeymoon?"

"Stop for pictures, come on, be nice!!"

"What comes next?!!"

"Will there be any babies soon?"

"I LOVE THE SWEATERS!!"

I plan to ignore it all and get into the limo, but Velma aggressively hand gestures for me to entertain the press. "Duty calls, let's answer." I lower my voice so only my love can hear. I slip her out of my arms for better filming. The microphones hover above us within a millisecond.

"Thank you for welcoming us home! I can't really name every place; I'll get a list out later. As for what comes next..." My darling looks to me.

"The sky's the limit." I finish her sentence.

"Any plans for children?" a slender reporter asks.

"Well...I only want 2... he wants an army. As if I'm a machine." Her witty charisma has the crowd laughing.

"You'll be featured in next year's expo, birthing pod of the future." I jab.

"I dare you."

"Dare accepted." A comedic round of laughs pleases Velma. This is what she lives for.

"Any more questions?" Madi states politely.

"Who are you wearing tonight?"

"Celine." My babe replies.

"Are the rumors about you being a virgin true?" Another press scout cuts in.

"Ummm..." She rubs the nape of her neck. "I can't answer that, sorry."

"Why not?!" The crowd erupts with tangled shouts. Nothing is audible, every word is buried within the hectic mob.

This is usually a sign to exit, before they get too rowdy. "Thank you for your interest, but we're needed at the stadium. Until next time." I hustle my sweetheart to the limo.

Velma opens the door, allowing us in first before her. "You're on my good side." She slams the car door.

"Good to know."

"Hi again." Madi waves.

"Hi..." Vel is nice for a split second before exchanging an authoritarian scowl. "You're still behind, I hope you're willing to make up for failed tasks."
