The winters siblings arrived at MistWood early in the evening getting the full show of the town during its golden hour. The town wasn't very big and the golden hour gave it a chance to pretty it up for the new residents that would be staying there. First there was the youngest brother Mickey, he was an energetic young soul constantly scraping his knees and getting into trouble. A ball of energy anyone would have a hard time keeping up with at only 13 years old. Next was Katrina or Kat as she preferred to be called. A eighteen year old social butterfly, effortlessly got along with everyone and had a friendly and outgoing personality. Then was Beaumont or Beau as he much preferred. The twin brother of Kat, much more of a quiet soul and not as easily social but wickedly smart and clever. They all have the curly light brown hair and brown eyes that were honey gold in the sunlight, characteristic of the winters family. Kats hair was long done up in a pony tail, Mickey had close cropped hair and Beau let his grow in a shaggy middle part, his eyes had deep bags due to his chronic insomnia.

As they hopped off the bus Beau groaned and Mickey stretched having cracks rattle his spine "Man that ride took forever!" The young boy complained. "Not over yet let's go find uncle Vincent" Kat said with a smile. Beau seemed skeptical about this. They didn't know a lot about their uncle. He came by rarely and had very brief visits. Their mother never talked about her brother and they knew very little. They walked out of the bus stop and began walking down the street until they saw their uncle. A tall man in his forties with greying hair on the sides of his head. He wore a brown trench coat over a white stained button up and red tie and a necklace police badge that read detective. He was asleep in his convertible 67' mustang that was barely running. "Uh, Uncle Vincent?" Beau said concerned the man startled awake. "Oh! Uh kids!" He got up and exited the car. "The Bus was behind schedule so I fell asleep waiting" he situates himself and said "Welcome to MistWood! Hop in I'll show you around while we drive to the house" he said cheerily. The kids plopped their bags into the trunk that he had to jimmy with a screwdriver.

As they drove their uncle gestured to buildings and naming their purpose "That's sharky's diner, over there is the movie theater and that's th-" he cut himself off and he noticed the expression in the kids eyes. He sighed "Look... I never had kids and I was never around while you guys were growing up. But your mother, My sister, entrusted you guys to me if anything happened to her. I won't try to replace them but I'll try my best to provide for you" he said simply. The kids just nodded and the rest of the drive was silent.

Vincent took them to the edge of the woods and then some down a short dirt trail until they saw an old wooden cabin nestled in the trees. It was large enough to house the four of them with not much room to spare. They just looked at it as their uncle parked in the dirt drive way. He let the kids out and they grabbed their bags and stepped into the porch. He opened the front door and they got a look at the living room/entrance. It has clearly been cleaned in a hurry and not very well. There was dust on almost all the furniture except for the places their uncle frequented like the couch kitchen or dining room table. There were cobwebs in just about every corner of the roof and shadows lingered from the dim light bulbs that lit the place up during the almost set sun.  They just took it in for a moment as their uncle began climbing the stairs. They ascended the rickety stairs after him and looked down the hallway. "Pick any room you want we can go out and get you guys some more decorations and bedding soon. Last two and the left are mine". He just let the kids pick their rooms. Mickey picked the biggest available one to no one's complaint. Kat picked the one with the largest closet she loved fashion and had a hobby of making her own clothes so she's going to need the space. Finally Beau picked the one with the biggest window with a bench attached making it a bay window with a nice view of the woods that was barely able to see the sun setting between the trees. They all began to settle into their rooms unpacking their small amount of belongings as they did their uncle said "Hey I ordered some pizza so come down when you guys are done it should be here by then" he then disappeared downstairs.
