Flashbacks : A Business party , years ago

Joong adjusted his tie , feeling suffocated by the formal attire. His parents had dragged him to this party, insisting he meet Jule , the daughter of a potential business partner. He scanned the room , spotting Jule across the way . she was beautiful, but Joong's heart wasn't interested.

As he approached her , Jule's eyes lit up ."Joong its so great to finally meet you !" She extended her hand and joong shook it politely .

"A pleasure," he said , trying to sound enthusiastic.

Their parents excused themselves , leaving Joong and Jule alone. That's when joong saw it a flicker of something in Jule's eyes  , a hint of obsession.

"Jule ,can i get you a drink?" Joong asked, trying to break the tension.

But before she could answer , a flashback hit her like a wave .

Jule's Flashbacks

She was 16 , crying in a school halfway after her brutal breakup . Joong a year older had found her and offered a comforting smile ." Hey , its ok . You will get through this ." He had sat with her until she calmed down, and Jule had developed a crush on him that day.

Now years later, she know joong don't like girls , but her obsession had not faded. She was convinced they were meant to be together.

Back in the present Jule eyes refocused on joong . "No drink . thanks, i am good."

Joong sensed something off but couldn't quite put his finger on it ." So Jule , what do you like to do for fun?"

Jule's eyes sparkled as she leaned in , her voice taking on a flirtatious tone.
"I love trying new things , Joong . But i have to say , i am really interested in getting to know you better."

Joong shifted uncomfortably sensing where this was headed ." Jule , i think we should just focus on our parent's business deal . I don't want to complicate things."

Jule's smile faltered for a moment before she recovered ."oh Joong, you're so funny. I am not talking about business. I am talking about us ."

Joong's heart sank as he realised his parents had set him up on a blind date . He needed to let Jule down easy, but firmly.

"Jule , listen... I appreciate your interest but i am not interested in dating you and not even girls if i say."

( Everyone i respect him I don't know if he is gay or not just take this as a fictional okay)

Jule's face fell , her eyes flashing with anger and hurt ."what , you're..... you're gay?"

Joong nodded sympathetically ."yes, Jule . i am sorry if it hurt you , but i need to be honest."

Jule's expression twisted, her voice dropping to a whisper . "You're making a mistake , Joong . I can make you happy. You just don't know it yet."

Joong take step back trying to create some distance between them. "Jule i understand that you are upset , but i am being honest with you , i am not interested in pursuing a relationship with you."

Jule's eyes narrowed her voice taking on a menacing tone . "You're going to regret this Joong. You're making a big mistake ."

Joong's instincts told him to get away from her as quickly as possible ."Jule i think we are done here, Excuse me."

He turned to leave, but Jule's word stopped him cold.

"This is not over , Joong. I'll make sure you know that ."

Joong shivered at the malice in her voice, but he didn't look back . He kept walking , relieved to escape the toxic atmosphere that has developed around Jule .

As he disappeared into the crowd , Jule's eyes burned with a fierce determination. She would not be rejected this easily . She would make Joong hers , no matter what it took .
