The first day of the shoot...after breakfast, they headed out with their teams and co actors. Their shoot was in a railway station. As they reached, she was looking around with smile on her lips yet her eyes were moist. He took a glance at her and said,

"Kiski yaad aa gayi? Rinku Sooryavanshi yah Sarah Pratapsi?"

She asked with a surprising tone, "Tumhe mere characters ke naam itne acche se yaad ho gaye hain"

"Should I forget?" he sadly chuckled.

"Kabhi to mere sawalo ke sahi jawab diya karo" she sighed.

"Kabhi to sahi sawal pucha karo" he said.

"Promotions ke time mukku bhi bhul gaye the isiliye pucha"
she shrugged and left.

"I never used to forget Sara even during promotion...I just love to let you win" he smiled thinking in mind.

There was an unmistakable buzz in the air as the crew prepared the set at Gwalior's railway station. Kartik didn't have a shot and he came anyways and even wanted to stay longer.

He decided to play it cool. He approached Luv Sir, feigning casual interest. "Sir mera scene to station pe nahi hain but I was thinking... maybe I could hang around? You know, just to get a feel for the set and the vibe"

The director raised an eyebrow but didn't object. "Sure, Kartik, feel free. It's always good to have an actor immerse themselves in the environment"

"Haan wahi main soch raha tha" Kartik smiled.

"Sara ka scene hain na mostly" Aparsakti teased coming from behind patting his back.

"Tera bhi hain...aur main tujhe dekhne ke liye hi to ruk raha hu" Kartik replied.

"Hayeee mera vai...aja gale lag ja" Apar hugged him and whispered, "Sharam kar le thoda...jooth pe jooth bole ja raha hain"

Kartik just laughed nervously.

Sara stood in her dressing room, looking at herself in the mirror. She was adorned in a stunning wedding outfit-a traditional red lehenga intricately embroidered with gold thread, paired with a matching dupatta draped elegantly over her head. The jewelry she wore added a touch of regal splendor, with delicate bangles, a necklace, and a maang tikka that perfectly complemented her ensemble.

Finally, the moment came. she stepped out onto the platform and his breath caught in his throat as he saw her for the first time in the wedding outfit. The world seemed to slow down, and all the noise and activity around him faded into the background.

The first one her eyes fell on him. He was looking shocked. She might see him stumbled a bit but let it go thinking that she must be hallucinating.

"Princess" he murmured softly which no one could hear.

He positioned himself discreetly behind the monitors beside the director. He watched how beautiful she was looking on the screen.

The director called for the first take, and the crew fell silent. The camera rolled, capturing Sara as she walked along the platform.

He was rooted to the spot, mesmerized by the woman he once loved and, perhaps, still did.

It did two takes to complete first shot.

The director called "Cut," and the spell was broken. The crew began resetting for the next take, and Sara blinked, coming out of the scene's emotional depth. She turned to look at Kartik, a small, almost shy smile tugging at the corners of her lips and he showed her a thumbs up. She felt relaxed.
