MY SERPENT - A SHIVIAN STORY

I love him already

(A few days go by)

Vivian's Pov

I wake up, and my bed is empty. Oh no, where did she go? Did she get scared of me? What happened? I really need to talk to her about something...

I go downstairs, and I start smelling bacon and other stuff.

V:"Who's in my kitchen?" I say jokingly as I walk into the kitchen.

S:"Good morning, angel, I'm just making us breakfast."

I walk over and give her a kiss on the forehead.

V:"I have a question.."

S:"What is it, my darling?" She says

V:"I have to bring Jaime home from my mothers. Are you okay with that?"

S:"Yeah, sure, why wouldn't I be?"

She pulls me in for another kiss.

Not long after, she finishes breakfast. We get to the car, and she sits in the passenger side.

She then turns on "the promise - girls aloud," and she sings along, replacing all of the "he/him" lyrics with "she/her."""""" ". She's so cute.

After the next couple of songs, we get to my mothers house.

V:"Alright, are you coming inside with me?"

S:"Are you sure?"

V:"Yeah, you can meet my mother?"

S:"Okay then."

I knock on the door and wait for my mother to unlock it.

S:"Are you sure, though?"

I turn to look at her and give her a reassuring kiss on her temple.

V:"You're going to be just fine! Trust me."

S:"Okay."

The door opens, and my mum is standing there.

V:"This is my mother. You can call her valentina or Tina."

T:"Aww, Vivian, who is this?"

V:"This is my new girlfriend, Siobhan."

T:"Well, nice to meet you, Siobhan. Why don't you come inside and I can make you a cuppa?"

S:"That would be lovely, thank you."

We both follow after my mum, and Jaime spots me.

J:"MAMA!!"

He runs to be, and I scoop him up and give him a hug. After, he turns to Siobhan.

J:"Pretty blonde lady from nursery that my mum always speaks to!!"

He then gives her a hug.

S:"Hello, little man."

J:"Hi!"

S:"You can call me Siobhan!"

J:"Si- Si-"

S:"It's okay. You're getting it!"

V:"He struggles with his S sounds, so that's why he's not saying it like someone would say it normally."

S:"It's okay, Viv. Don't worry, my love. I got this!"

She turns to face Jaime.

S:"How about you call me bonnie?"

J:"bon bon!"

Siobhan looks at him and then at me.

S:"That works too!"

Tears form in her eyes as she gets up and looks into my eyes.

S:"A child has never given me a nickname before."

I rub her back as she pulls me in for a hug.

V:"Well, now a child has."

My mum walks into the room.

T:"Come on, lovebirds, your cuppas are ready!"

V:"Okay, mum!"

S:"Okay, Tina. Thank you."

We both walk into the kitchen and grab our coffee, and place them on the kitchen island. My mum then places a tray of biscuits in the middle.

T:"Help yourself."

S:"Thank you!"

V:"Okay!!"

Everyone sits down on one of the stalls.

T:"Soo! How did you meet?"

V:"Well, basically, we started off as friends. She then got engaged to someone she didn't love, but she eventually ended up with me."

T:"Oh wow!"

S:"Yeah, she stole my heart!"

T:"Aww, well, I'm so happy for you both!"

S:"Thank you!"

We all talk for the next 20 minutes and we finish our drinks.

T:"Well, it was lovely meeting you, Siobhan."

S:"It was lovely meeting you too, Tina."

V:"See you later, mum!"

T:"Bye Vi!"

We finally get Jaime and ourselves into the car. I place my hand onto siobhans lap.

S:"Your ma is lovely!"

V:"Thank you, babe!"

Siobhan looks back at Jaime.

S:"Your Jaime, he is just like you, my love."

V:"Hehe. Well, he is my son."

J:"Mummy! Can we stop at McDonald's?"

V:"You feeling up to it?"

S:"Yeah, sure, thank you, love."

The small family all went in the drive thru. It was a long time to wait for their food. Vivian nearly started shouting to ask how long it took because it nearly took over an hour.

After that they all went home and had a nice early night as Jaime was going to nursery the next day.
