MY SERPENT - A SHIVIAN STORY

First scan

Vivians pov

I wake up and I'm cuddled up to siobhan. Today she is going for her first scan.

She stirs and finally wakes up after about 20 minutes.

S:"Good morning darling."

V:"Good morning to you too"

She gets out of bed and puts a black maxi square neck dress on and does a smokey eye. I can sense she's getting a little bit insecure about her bump.

I walk over as she's standing in the mirror and hug her from behind, with both of my hands on her bump. I then plant a kiss on her neck.

V:"You look amazing, my love."

S:"Thank you, beautiful."

A few minutes go by and we are all finished getting ready. We all then get into the car and start playing our cd album 'what will the neighbours say?' By girls aloud. Me and siobhan love girls aloud, we went to one of their concerts last year together when we first started dating.

A good 20 minutes pass by and we are finally at the doctors surgery. She squeezes my hand.

V:"Don't worry, sweetheart. It will all be okay."

I say as I place a gentle kiss to her forehead.

A few minutes go by and we get called in. We both walk to the room holding hands.

The doctors name was Ruby.

R:"Hello, lovely to see you Mrs and Mrs serpent."

V:"Hiya."

S:"Hello Ruby."

R:"Now Siobhan may you lay on the bed and lift your dress up?"

S:"Okay."

She turns to me.

S:"Thank God I'm wearing tights."

I chuckle and then Siobhan does as instructed.

R:"So I'm going to put this special gel on your stomach and then we will see how the baby is doing."

S:"Okay thanks"

V:"Bon bon, you'll do okay. You've got this."

Ruby then put the gel on and rubs it around siobhans belly.

R:"Okay let's take a look."

Ruby's eyes widen and her jaw drops.

Siobhan puts her dress down and sits up. I get in my seat properly.

S:"What is it? Have I lost it?"

R:"No."

V:"What's going on?"

R:"So basically.."

S:"Use your words."

R:"Your having twins."

Me and siobhans eyes widen and our jaws drop.

S:"Wait. What?"

V:"is this a joke or something?:

R:"No. I'm being dead serious. I'm gonna give you two some time to talk"

Ruby walks out of the room. I look into siobhans eyes.

S:"Can't you believe it. We're having twins!"

She places her hands on her bump.

S:"Aww, it's all I ever dreamed of. A beautiful and caring wife. A son like Jaime and twins."

V:"Aww, you know. Your so cute."

Ruby knocks on the door.

R:"may I come back in?"

V:"Sure!"

She walks back in.

R:"How are you two feeling?"

S:"Over the moon!"

I nod in agreement.

R:"Would you like to know the genders."

Siobhan looks over at me. I nod.

R:"So the first one is a girl!"

Siobhan has a massive beam of happiness on her face.

R:"And the second is another girl"

S:"OMG. YES. CANT YOU BELIEVE IT VIV! WERE GONNA HAVE TWO BABY GIRLS"

V:"OH MY LORD, IM SO HAPPY!!"

R:"Well, that's your appointment done, I've got other clients. Have a nice day."
