"What are we going to do?" Questioned Ariana, "I'm...I'm not sure" replied Conrad looking around the city from his car questioning what he can do. The streets looked completely over run and empty, "hmm i guess people here left as soon as they got the chance" Conrad muttered to himself, "I think we are going to have to walk it from here" said Conrad getting up of the car and Shutting the door behind him, Ariana immediately looked back at the twins and her faced dropped, "is he serious?" Whispered Malachi, "look what happened back at the campsite...how are we supposed to make it to the end of the street let alone whether we go next without a car" Ariana added. Conrad stood at the front of the car with his hand both at his hips, he took a deep breath before turning back around and approaching the passenger side door, "Ariana, I need you to stay here with your brothers, I'm going to take a Quick Look around, surely they should have something in one of these shops to help us, even if it's just some food or water", "dad?...are you sure we shouldn't all go", "yeah daddy what If what happened back at the tent happens to us?" Said Malachi with a quivering voice, "you know I wouldn't let that happen, if anything goes wrong just lock the doors and stay inside and do NOT move" said Conrad in an adamant tone, "I won't be long I promise" he added making direct eye contact with Ariana, she didn't say anything she just nodded (trying to hide her fear).
